Chapter 104: Givea chance

Those words madeburst into tears. So after all, after how many years, everything happened because of me.

The look | gave him when | heard the word chance almost made my heart explode due to anger.

"Chance? Give you another chance?" | asked, couldn't help hitting his chest with my palm. "What the fuck are

you asking me?"

"I hurt you. | shouldn't have done those things and shouldn't have said those words. | know | couldn't change

them anymore no matter how | wish, but if you giveanother chance I'll do everything this tto make

things right or if not, I'll do my best to show you how sorry | am and | love you-—-"

But he was stopped when | laughed at him sarcastically. And then | stared at him. Behind those tears streaming

down my face, silent words were echoing my head... wishing | had heard those words a long tago, but |

didn't. And those tears that | see in his eyes, | wish | had seen them when | hadn't yet decided to move on.

"You'll do everything to make things right? Why? Do you think you can still change them or will it make even a

little change for what has happened?" When | didn't hear any words from him, | continued. "We've already talked

about this matter and | told you | love David."

He didn't say anything, he just closed his eyes tightly and that's when I took steps towards the bedroom. But

before | could even reach the door, | stopped and immediately turned around as | realized one thing.

Shaking my head, | continued my steps towards the bedroom and left him calling my name.

"What's going on here?"

My breath stuck in my throat as Dale suddenly appeared in front ofand | found myself staring at him for a

few seconds.

And before anyone could speak, Luke already made his way towards the door and was soon out of our sight.

"What's the matter with him?" Dale asked again, his eyes held confusion as they moved fromto his sister

who already facing her desk and then back to me... again.

| sighed loudly to make him see how hard is the situation just in case he thinks to annoyagain.

He stared atfor a few seconds with a deep frown on his forehead. | stared back before motioning him

through my eyes to look at his sister.

"lI don't get it!" He whispered that almost madeslap him on the forehead.

"What's going on here and why Luke was here?" He even held my arm.

-'What the hell? Why does he need to hold me?'-

"Well, | think you should follow your best friend and ask him while | talk to your sister. How's that?" | chose to

ignore the sudden spark that crawled down my spine and talked to him as normal as possible. "Okay." He sighed.

"I'll just talk to her later." He said before letting go of my arm and exited the room.

-'Whew!'- My hand automatically lifted to my chest as | released the breath | was holding the moment | saw him.

| looked at my best friend before closing the door. She was crying silently on the couch when | approached her.
