The man tried to talk past the cloth around his mouth but he wasn’t able to so Han made a gesture to Tao Long and Tao Long cut the restraints on both the man’s hands and his mouth. Once his mouth was free the man glared at Han.

“Do you know what you are doing!? Do you think you can get away with this!? Our company is under Ren Corp right now and all our stocks are handled by them, if you try something like this that Hou Ren will surely not let you go!!”

Han leaned back and crossed his feet. Of course, he knew the company was under Ren corp. That was the reason he was doing this in the first place!

“Just sign the document and let me handle Hou Ren. What Hou Ren and I have is a bittersweet relationship. I can do whatever I want to him but he can not do anything back. If he tries it then he will find himself six feet under.”

Fourier swallowed nervously. This man was talking about Hou Ren like he knew him personally and could do exactly what he said to him. Would Hou Ren ever allow someone to do something like that to him!? Hou Ren was known to be ruthless and his attack dog, Cipher, was one of the best killers in the world. What would this man have against Hou Ren that can make him so confident!?

Fourier clenched his hands and snarled. He couldn’t do it! Not just because of Hou Ren, but because this business has been in his family for years! Would he be the coward that let his family business go!?

“I won’t sign this! I don’t know what you have against Hou Ren but it is none of my business. This is my family’s company, I cannot just give it to you!”

Han rose a brow. Oh… Oh? Really? Well if that was the case then Fourier should have said something from the beginning!

“If it is a family business then you should have said something already! Tao Long, did you hear that? It’s a family business. You know what to do, right?”

It was one call that Tao Long made and when the person on the other end picked up he gave the phone to Fourier.

[Honey! Honey are you okay!? I hope you’re fine!]

Fourier felt his entire blood run like ice in his veins. His wife sounded terrified.

“Miu! Are you fine!? What about the children!?”

[Daddy! Where are you!?]

Fourier clenched his eyes and his teeth began to creak from how hard he was gritting them. What kind of monster did he get involved with!?

[Honey I don’t know where we are, some of your bodyguards suddenly came and told us they would take us to you but I don’t know where this place is!]

Those aren’t my bodyguards! Fourier wanted to shout into the phone, but it was already too late. Tao Long took the phone from Fourier and clicked off the call. Fourier screamed and he tried to charge for Han on the other side of the table, but his legs were tied so all he could do was fall to the ground.

Han looked down at him and took another sip of his wine.

This man was a monster! How dare he touch my family!? I’ll kill you if even a single one of them is hurt!

Han was impassive to the glare the man was giving him. He didn’t hurt any of them and the woman was never separated from her children, don’t look at me like a monster.

“Since it’s a family business, it’s only right that you decide based on the future of your family. Put him back on the chair.”

Once Tao Long put the man back on the chair Han shifted the document closer to him and dropped a pen on it.

“Listen here, I want to buy that company for two hundred million, it is not a small amount of money, especially since your company is only worth one-eighty million. With that kind of money, you and your family can move to anywhere in the world and live a happy life far from Hou Ren. I heard City Z is beautiful this time of the year, maybe you can go there. But if you don’t sign this document then I will do things to you, Fourier… Unspeakable things”

Fourier eyed the document wearily before he reached forward with shaky hands and opened it to sign. Once he was done, Han nodded to Tao Long, and a cloth was pressed on Fourier’s nose.

The man will find himself and his family in another city by tomorrow with an offshore account with two hundred million. Han didn’t want anybody else getting hurt as he dismantled Hou Ren, so he would make sure this man didn’t even have to meet Hou Ren again.

But now, Han couldn’t help but smile. There was a reason why Han wanted Connective under him. This company was responsible for basically all broadcasting needs in the city and they were the only ones capable of broadcasting for most news channels. Han was going to take all of Hou Ren’s power from him!

Once he was done there, Han bade goodbye to Tao Long and took his jet right back to city C. The next morning news was going to rock the entire city!

In City C, Miss Kim was sitting at her desk in H&C Advertisement while looking through some documents. She found herself thinking of Han Luo again and she didn’t know what to do about it. He has been on her mind a lot these past few days, especially since she heard about his achievement in making his company a billion-dollar one.

Anytime she remembers that she could have had him as a part of her own company for longer if she just kept her cool. She feels like screaming in frustration! If only she didn’t throw that drink on him! He was just trying to help in that meeting and she allowed other people’s voices to influence her like that!

Miss Kim dropped the pen to the table and massaged her shoulder. She needed to see him again. It’s been so long since she last saw him in the bank and she couldn’t get their conversation out of her head. They spoke like equals. He still treated her like an equal even when his company was seven times larger than her own back then.

Now he was worth over two billion dollars, would he still treat her like an equal? Her company just managed to crawl past the fifty million dollar mark and she didn’t know if he would see her as a small person now!

The door to her office suddenly burst open and Miss Kim sat up straight as she saw a woman run inside. It was her personal secretary, Pam.

“Miss Kim! Look at this!”

What could be so important that Pam thought it was necessary to barge in like that!? Miss Kim wanted to shout at Pam but she decided to calm down and look at what Pam brought first.

It was a document that was dated from this morning. The logo on top of it was from their broadcast company, Connective, but it was the logo beside that one that shocked miss Kim.

“HR Investment!? When did they collaborate with Connective!?”

Pam shook her head in distress

“They didn’t collaborate, ma’am, HR bought Connective!!”

Miss Kim felt shock pass through her as her heart skipped a beat. Han bought Connective!? When!? How!?

“And that’s not all, ma’am. There is a notice sent to all companies using Connective!”

Miss Kim took the document and scanned it quickly, she got to the next page and her eyes grew wider and wider as she read what was being written there.

“Thirty percent of our stocks!!!!?”

The document state that if any company wanted to continue using Connective, then they were to issue thirty percent of their free stocks to HR Investments. Miss Kim couldn’t believe it. It wasn’t a bad thing to give her stocks to a big company like HR Investments, but if she did that then they would own the majority of stocks in her company! They would become her new parent company!?

What was Hou Ren doing about this!? This document was taking power out from under his nose and he still wasn’t going anything!?

Miss Kim decided that she would have to talk to Han about this.. It was a good excuse to both talk about the document and talk to him about other things. Yes, she had to see him today!
