Picking Up Beautiful Girls In The Post-Apocalyptic World!

Gregory was flying at insane speeds in the direction that Han had printed out to him. He kept his [Eyes of Horos] activated and he was able to see the tracks left behind by the carriage on the ground! They really thought they could run away from him!? What fools! He won’t let even one of them to get away!

The convoy carrying the royal family was made up of ten carriages. Each of the carriages had twenty guards inside them and they all surrounded the one carriage carrying the king like a protective circle. Inside that carriage, the king had his hand balled into a fist as he stared out the window. He was wondering what could possibly be happening! He only heard from the guards that there was an intruder, but the head guard was not able to tell him who it was because they were in such a hurry! He needed to know who would dare to pose a threat to his family like this!

The queen was holding the princess tightly while the two princes were also trying to figure out what was happening. Opposite the royal family sat the Duke and Duchess of the kingdom along with their daughter Willow. They were supposed to be getting married into the royal family today but something like this suddenly happened before they could do it! It didn’t sit well with the duke! He was angry that his chance to become closer to the king was ruined by that intruder!

Boom!!!

The horses drawing the carriage all whined in fear as a great sound echoed from outside the carriage. Everyone had to hold on tight to something to avoid falling and the king heard the sound of guards rushing out from the carriages! Was the intruder here!? How was he able to catch up to them when they were using this magic carriage!?

“Your highness! We need to use a different route! Please hold on!”

The shout from their driver made everyone in the carriage hold on tightly to their seats before they felt the carriage turn around and begin running in the opposite direction from where they came. But then they all jerked forward with force when the carriage was suddenly stopped by an unmovable force!

The king couldn’t hear anything outside, and the queen looked toward him for what they were to do next! He was the man here so he should have a solution! But the king was blank! He had never seen any sort of intruder that could cut through all his guards like this!

Does he have to use it already? There was a failsafe that he could use whenever a kingdom-level threat appeared. It might not look like it right now, but this intruder could potentially become a kingdom-level threat. The king decided that he would use the failsafe! He sent a mental command out to various parts of the kingdom, and he was happy when he received a response back! They would be saved soon!

Han and the other girls were floating high above the carriages as they watched Gregory. What Gregory was doing was a little impressive from Han’s perspective. This guy probably never killed another human being before. The only things that he killed were those monsters in the future. How can he be so calm while murdering all these people in cold blood!? Maybe it has something to do with his dark magic?

“Han, something is coming. I think it’s some kind of magic construct, I can see that it’s made of rock and it’s very large, like a golem”

The person who said this to Han was Fey. She was looking in a certain direction with a calm face. Han looked in that direction as well and he saw what she was talking about. It was some sort of giant rock golem. Was this some sort of kingdom protector? There are almost ten of them coming.

Han hummed. He could tell that Gregory would not really be able to deal with all of this while also handing the royal family. The royal family would have magic as well so Gregory would have to subdue them before he could kill them!

Well, I’m interested in this boy. It’s only right for me to send him a helping hand.

[Shadow Hunter] has been activated.

Ten shadow Hunters rose from the ground and Han commanded them to shoot off toward the golems! The shadow Hunters didn’t waste any time and they blasted off the ground! They couldn’t fly, but their jump made it look like they were flying!

The stone golems were almost ten times the size of the shadows. Each shadow Hunter would probably not even reach up to the knee of a golem at its full height, but when the shadow hunter slammed into the golem, the entire forest rumbled!

Boom!!

The shadow Hunters were at a much higher level since Han leveled up in that war with Alcatraz. They were at a level that was a high gold Star before, but now they were even higher than that! The stone golems were strong, but they were just giant masses of stone who only listened to one command. At the very most, they were a silver Star threat at best. They didn’t even stand the smallest bit of a chance!

Seeing the shadow Hunters decimate the golems were bringing back traumatic memories for Leona. She wanted to look away from them because how their shadow reminded her of the helplessness she felt back on the tenth floor, but she refused to also be afraid of mere servants! She was already afraid of Han, if she was also afraid of these shadows then her pride would not be able to accept it!

Gregory, meanwhile, was oblivious to what was happening behind him. His bloodlust was activated as he walked towards the carriage holding his family. He could see the door open, and somebody stepped out. It was his father. The king was shocked when his failsafe didn’t arrive as quickly as he thought it would. He called those golems a long time ago so they should be here already!

But he can’t just stay here for his family to be attacked. The king was first confused before his expression changed to an irritated frown as he stared at his son and Gregory hated it! He hated the fact that this man knew exactly who he was and was still looking at him with that same look of utter disgust.

“Father, we shall join you. This maniac won’t touch our family no matter what”

The two princes also came out from the carriage and they brought out swords from their hips. It looked like they were willing to fight even after everything.

“Gregory, what have you done to yourself? I’m disappointed that you allowed yourself to fall this far. I thought you would understand how dangerous your power is in that tower, but you just allowed it to corrupt you -”

Woosh!

The king’s eyes widened as Gregory suddenly disappeared from his sight before he could even finish what he was saying! He heard a scream from his side and he saw that the second prince’s arm was missing! The first prince had enough mind to quickly cast earth magic around them to prevent any more damage! But the inside of the protective dome was dark and Gregory thrives in the dark!

[Dark Shadow] has been activated!

A hand of shadows burst out from the ground and pierced straight into the stomach of the second prince! The king could only watch his son fall to his knees before slumping to the ground.

The king screamed in anger and activated his light magic, but another hand quickly burst out from the ground and grabbed the first prince by the neck. Once his concentration was lost, his stone protection also died down. The king quickly tried to use his light-based power to negate the shadows but he was shocked when it didn’t even make a difference!

But it could negate it before! Why isn’t it able to do it now!Â

The king has not grown any weaker in these six years, so was it just that Gregory has grown so strong that they cannot even negate his shadows anymore!?

Gregory was back standing at the same spot as before and the king realized that if he wasn’t careful here then his entire family would die.

“Gregory, wait. What are you doing? Do you want to kill the royal family!? Your own family?”

Gregory rose a brow at the idiot he calls his father. Who said you were my family? I’m simply taking out the trash from this world. People like you don’t deserve to exist, and I will make sure you don’t have that happy ending you’re looking for.

Gregory was about to kill the first price as well but there was a sudden shout from inside the carriage as someone stepped out.

“Gregory!!!”

Gregory paused. That voice was someone he didn’t think he would hear from today. He didn’t know what the party at the castle was for, so he didn’t know that Duchess Willow was also there. Her shout was like a dagger to his heart.
