A huge ball of fire dropped from the sky and decimated almost half of Han’s Shadow Hunters all at once! Han looked towards Quinthreath. There was no one else who would have that level of control over that kind of skill here. He pulled out a skill that could cause max damage to shadows while also leaving his army unharmed. This man really isn’t ordinary!

Quinthreath spread his arms wide and a huge wall of water surged towards the castle and began to drag the shadow hunters away from the shore. This gave the other soldiers some breathing room for them to focus on the monster inside the castle. That thing was almost as strong as a black Star and it would take two or three generals before it could be defeated.

Quinthreath was about to unleash another skill on the monster but before he could, Han activated a skill!

[Angel of Destruction] has been activated!

Almost everyone looked up in shock! For these people, the highest skill they have ever seen was around 30,000 points and that was from Quinthreath. This skill that Han just unleashed was over 50,000 and they could feel the huge difference!

Quinthreath immediately brought his hand up and a ring there glowed green!

[Skill Stopper] activated!

The artifact could stop any one skill that the opponent cast no matter what level the skill was. The only downside to this skill was that Quinthreath could only use it on one skill at a time. The ring would be useless until he either kills the person or releases the stopper!

But he was shocked when nothing happened to Han! Did the artifact not work!?

Han knew that the artifact worked. If it was anyone else then the skill would have been stopped right in its tracks, but not Han. Han rose his sword into the sky with a sadistic smirk in place. Don’t you know? I’m not a slave to the system, the system is a slave to me.

Quinthreath rose his hand into the sky and a large shield formed over the entire castle!

The sword skill slammed down on the shield and Quinthreath felt his knees buckle from the strain! That attack was unbelievable! What kind of monster appeared on this floor!? And how is it possible for him to use a sword skill!? Isn’t he a mage!?

By the time the attack died down Quinthreath knew that Han couldn’t unleash another attack like that. That attack was probably from an artifact. There is no way a normal mage would have a sword skill that was so strong!

Han rose his hand again!

This time Quinthreath couldn’t get his shield up in time so the attack slammed down on the castle like an executioner!!

Gregory was moving through the shadows while taking down as many of the soldiers as he could. His scythe was flying in and out of view as he beheaded soldier after soldier. He knew that it would be hard for him to take on any of the generals as he was now. He could be killed by any one of them! So he needed to get stronger quickly!

Gregory learned a while back from Han that his power was not normal like the other people in this Temple. He gained far more stats from killing than he should. Gregory had no idea why that was the case but Han said it had something to do with his dark magic.

Gregory didn’t care why it happened. All he cared about was that he could become stronger even faster now! Gregory killed and killed and killed and killed!! His movement through the shadow was unmatched by any of the other nightwalkers in the castle! He would phase out of sight before anyone could notice him and kill as many people as he could before disappearing and appearing in another part of the castle!

Some nightwalkers were also using the shadow to try and kill him, but Gregory didn’t allow them to go! He killed any nightwalker he found in his shadow and dragged them back to the open! Before the battle had even gone halfway, Gregory was completely covered in blood. His scythe was now painted a blood red and he had murdered more than two hundred people already.

The screams of his victims were echoing all over the place and none of the soldiers could stop him! Mappa, Pryne’s wife, was the first person to notice that someone was killing her men in the shadows. She tracked Gregory’s movement but even with all her skill she still couldn’t see him properly because he was moving in his domain.

She finally decided that she would just fuck it and she activated one of her skills!

[Continuous Barrage] has been activated!

Hundreds of spears formed in the air above Mappa and she aimed them straight at the area where she suspected Gregory was most likely at! She released them with a shout and they flew straight!

Boom!!!

The battlefield around her became quiet as the men waited to see if Gregory actually died from the explosion, but this wasn’t a fucking movie!

A rope shot out of the explosion and dragged a man into the dust cloud with a scream! Mappa yelled the man’s name before she saw two more men getting roped and dragged in as well! They screamed inside the dust cloud for some time before they finally quieted down.

Tap! Tap! Tap! Tap!

That was the sound of someone slowly walking out of the fire. Mappa kept her defenses up as she saw a boy clad in black step out from there. He had a long scythe over his shoulder with both hands resting on the scythe.

Gregory looked up from under his bangs and smiled at Mappa. He should have more than enough power for one of these fuckers now.

“Gregory Magicus. That’s the name. Remember it when you’re gone”

Mappa sneered. What nonsense!

“Attack!!!”

Gregory dodged to the side as the spot he was in got riddled with explosions! He had to continue running as the relentless attacks continued for a long time. He brought his scythe up and was about to cut off the head of one of the soldiers but he got intercepted by a spear! He looked to the side to see Mappa holding him back easily! And here he thought he was too fast for her to see!

She was even faster than him!

Slam! Slam! Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang!

Mappa and Gregory danced across the battlefield with their weapons as they released huge sparks each time they slammed into each other’s weapons! They were unrelenting in their strikes and each one of those strikes was enough to make the floor vibrate!

Mappa felt Gregory redirect her stroke to one side and she quickly dodged the shadow knife that came flying at her at supersonic speed! The knife cut across her cheeks and she gritted her teeth as she rolled with her dodge and kicked Gregory back. Gregory skid to a stop and spat some blood to one side before smiling at her.

Mappa knew exactly what that smile meant and even though it was childish she couldn’t help but feel insulted. He got first blood.

The two of them charged in again and continued their fight! Gregory was unrelenting because he knew that Mappa could kill him if he even had a single misstep here! He had to kill her here because if he dealt with her and absorbed her power then all the other generals would be easy for him to kill!

Gregory charged close to Mappa and got into her guard before slamming his shoulder into her stomach. He activated his skill [Black Fire] and it shot towards Mappa but she easily used her spear to blast a hole through the fire with a charging skill! She activated another skill called [Speed boost] and she quickly disappeared from Gregory’s sight as her speed increased drastically!

Gregory dropped into the shadow below him once he could no longer see Mappa and he was lucky because in the next moment her spear stabbed deep into the spot he had just been in! He laughed. Of course, they wouldn’t be so easy! These generals were the real deal.

“I don’t suppose you’re willing to call this a tie?”

Gregory’s voice echoed from everywhere and Mappa rolled her eyes. So now he wanted a tie? When he was killing her people did he think of a tie!?

“Fuck you, you coward. Come out here and tell me that nonsense to my face!”

Gregory deadpanned. Yeah, he didn’t think she would agree either!

[Dragon Familiar] has been activated!

A shadow dragon suddenly formed out from the ground and Mappa had to harden her defenses as it shot out [Dragon Fire] at her! She jumped back with her hand crossed. Gregory shot out of the shadow and took advantage of her momentary distraction to attack! Ten spikes shot out of the ground under her and Mappa quickly jumped up to avoid them, but one of the spikes still managed to make a long cut on her arm.

Gregory used a knife to cut his palm before racing toward her and grabbing her hand that was cut!

[Poisonous Blood] has been activated.

Mappa immediately felt her eyes get woozy and she tried to blink out the momentary confusion. Did she just get poisoned? She could feel her body getting weaker. No, the poison isn’t that strong, I just need to wait for a while and it will wear off!

But who was going to give her time? Gregory!? Ha, that’s hilarious!

She couldn’t do anything as Gregory shot into the sky and his Grim Reaper formed behind him!

“Grim Reaper!! Sever her heart!!”

Gregory swung his scythe across her body and Mappa immediately fell to her knees as a pool of blood began to appear on her shirt before she finally fell to the ground.
