Chapter 430-A year Later

A year later.

A cute girl was holding a sword, but her face was serious.

Dave and Caryll engaged in a fierce battle of wills.

The young girl wielded her sword with precision, her eyes filled with determination.

Dave, on the other hand, moved with a grace and confidence that seemed almost otherworldly.

Caryll's strikes were imbued with the raw power of destruction.

Each swing of her blade released a torrent of destructive energy that could level mountains.

Swish!

Yet, no matter how precise or forceful her attacks were, Dave effortlessly deflected them with casual ease.

His movements were fluid, his defenses impenetrable.

"Come on, Caryll,"

Dave encouraged, his voice calm and composed amidst the chaos of their clash.

"You can do better than that."

Caryll gritted her teeth and increased the intensity of her attacks.

Her strikes became a blur of motion as she unleashed wave after wave of destruction.

But Dave's movements remained unhurried, his defenses unyielding.

He seemed to anticipate her every move, effortlessly sidestepping her attacks or blocking them with a flick of his wrist.

Frustration welled up within Caryll.

She had always been a quick learner, but Dave's skills were on a different level entirely.

It was as if he could read her mind, knowing her intentions before she even acted on them.

With a burst of determination, Caryll channeled even more power into her sword.

The ground beneath her feet trembled as her strikes grew more ferocious.

But just as she thought she had an opening, Dave smoothly sidestepped, leaving her to strike at empty air.

Dave's voice cut through the tension. "Caryll, it's not just about power. It's about precision, timing, and strategy. You have the power of destruction, but you need to learn how to control it."

Caryll took a deep breath, trying to regain her composure. She knew Dave was right.

"Okay master"

It wasn't enough to rely solely on her destructive abilities. She needed to become a more skilled and strategic fighter.

Caryll continued the battle. She focused on her form, her timing, and her angles of attack. Each strike became more deliberate, more calculated.

She began to anticipate Dave's movements, aiming her attacks where he would be rather than where he was.

Dave nodded in approval as he saw Caryll's improvement. "That's it, Caryll. You're getting the hang of it."

She swung her sword at the handsome man, who appeared not to take her attacks seriously.

Boom!

The sword was infused with destructive energies but was halted by Dave's hand.

Dave smiled, and the sword had made no dent on his hand, as if it had struck a solid metal surface.

"Well, that's it for now. Return to your training, and we'll spar again another day,"

Dave advised. "I've already told Kirito what you should practice, so you'd better find him."

Caryll seemed dissatisfied with her current progress.

"But master," she began, "I still can't land a hit on you or defeat any of my aunties. How can I stop here? I know I may never defeat you in the future, but how can I protect you someday if I remain weak?"

Caryll clenched her small fist, but Dave reassured her that she was still very young, only 13 years old, and would undoubtedly grow stronger with time.

Dave smiled and patted her head, finding her determination admirable.

Caryll was at the Imperial Saint Emperor level, while the other girls had reached Semi Saint Sovereign, as Dave wasn't in a rush.

Nevertheless, Caryll's progress was impressive, and her destructive powers intrigued him.

She was obedient and followed Dave's teachings, benefiting from his ability to understand others' thoughts and strengths and weaknesses.

"Well, I don't need you to protect me because no one can defeat me. I'm invincible,"

Dave teased, his tone light. "But you should change your mindset, explore new things, and discover your own talents and skills. I can guide you and provide what you need to become stronger, but you must create your own path. Perhaps you'll even convince me that I'm not invincible someday."

After Caryll entered the tower of trials, Wendy approached Dave hesitantly.

"Hubby,"

Wendy began in a soft voice, indicating her acceptance of her new status as one of Dave's women.

She found it to be a positive experience, as Dave had treated her with care and tenderness, except in the bedroom.

Dave gazed at Wendy with a warm smile and asked, "Is it time?"

Wendy looked at Dave, her eyes filled with astonishment. "So, you knew?"

Dave met her gaze and replied, "I had a feeling that you would leave this place and return to your domain, but I'm grateful that you postponed it for a year to be with me."

Tears welled up in Wendy's eyes, and Dave moved closer to gently wipe them away.

"Don't cry, dummy. We won't be apart for too long."

Feeling Dave's warm touch, Wendy realized that he had taught her how to live with someone to rely on, a stark contrast to her former self as a distant God who needed no one's help or assistance.

"I don't want to leave you now, but I have to," Wendy said.

Dave smiled, holding her hand and reassuring her, "Don't worry, I'll find you in the celestial plane. Just wait for me."

He leaned in and kissed her lips, and Wendy, having grown accustomed to Dave, reciprocated before they parted.

"I've said my goodbyes to the others, and I'll be waiting for all of you there,"

Wendy said with a smile, caressing Dave's cheek. However, her figure began to blur and fade as if she were a hazy image.

"Goodbye, Hubby. I love you," Wendy whispered before disappearing entirely.

Dave stood there, looking at the spot where Wendy had vanished.

His expression didn't betray any strong emotions because he wasn't worried about her safety; he knew they would reunite in the future.

Wendy was bound by the will of the heavens, calling her back to her celestial plane to recover her powers. Aby had explained this to Dave before, so he wasn't surprised.

He didn't want to hinder Wendy's progress and appreciated the year they had spent together.

"Now, it seems I need to get back to work," Dave thought.

Over the year of rest, he had diligently trained all the girls, and most of them had made significant improvements, including a better understanding of the laws.  ᴛʜɪs ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ ɪs ᴜᴘᴅᴀᴛᴇ ʙʏ Nov????lFire(.)nᴇt

The tower of trials had granted them many benefits, and some had even reached the level of Semi-Saint Sovereign thanks to Dave's dual cultivation.

As Dave pondered where to start, he sensed a familiar bond within his blood and glanced at a particular spot where he had left an egg to absorb energies.

"Oh, it looks like a new family member has arrived," Dave smirked and promptly disappeared from the place.
