Chapter 1834 - 1834 Obstacles1834 Obstacles
Sam looked at the faction leaders with a very solemn face.
The faction leaders felt like something is wrong and one of them couldn’t hold it and asked straight out.
“What happened?”
“God’s interference. Another god is interfering with the statue summoning ritual. Zeus cannot talk to you for a while. It seems like the target on your backs is bigger than I thought.
Maybe this can also be considered as the testament to the Seven Star alliance’s strength and soldiers.”
Sam did not miss the chance to gas in some false praises here and there. The faction leaders felt their hearts run cold, but they all stood straight and proudly at the same time.
They really bought into all the crap that Sam said about them being excellent. One thing about the cultivators particularly the ones in the authority over a large territory is that they are a bunch of people that believed in themselves to the point that it’s almost a joke.
No, not almost. It is a joke. They are so full of themselves that they start to believe their own crap about being invincible within their territory and since someone is praising them within their territory and about how they are so powerful in producing people for their Gods’ army, they are so full of it.
The more Sam spoke to them, the more they believed him.
.....
After some more discussion, they finally agreed to let Sam build the formation and the training center.
As soon as the agreement was made, Sam directly asked for one thing.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt“I want the map of all of your territory. I need the terrain details, the elemental energy concentrations, the locations of the mines and their veins, the vegetation details, distance from the sea. I need all the details.
I am not just going to build one formation, it will be many, and no matter from which part the other party might invade you, you will be able to repel them, absorb the energy the vines collected and make fruits, and create a pretty good resource for you and your proteges.
The training center will be handled by some of the other guys on my team.
We are going to build seven training centers in seven different locations. Basically one for each star and each training center specializes in a different aspect.
This is to make sure that all of you are codependent on each other and no one just hoards the best part.”
The faction leaders are a bit reluctant to give out so much sensitive information about their own territories, but after Sam showed some sample design blueprints, they are stunned. He even showed them some virtual projections and they were convinced more and more.
That day, by evening not only was Sam supplied with all of the details that are needed, but he was also even introduced to a bunch of youngsters and mid-level officials of different factions.
He was told that they are arranged to help him, but Sam knew that it is otherwise. All these people are targeting him and the other players with different agendas.
The youngsters are sent to strike friendships and romantic relationships, the mid-level officials are sent to suck up and join forces and curry favor.
They are all trying to get something out of them.
And Sam let them play around like that.
That night within the mansion all the pestering flies have left. Sam laid out a map and marked a spot.
“From my estimation, this is the spot that we need to be at.”
The mark is actually in the middle of the ocean, not at the border like they expected it to be.
“We don’t exactly what is there, but there must be some kind of land mass there that is not mapped or there might even be a temporary landmass there.
But we will find out once we get near there. But the problem is all the faction leaders are kind of against us going there. In fact, it wouldn’t even be considered as the territory of these clan leaders. It should be considered as some external part of the solar sect.
The people guarding the coast are not just from the Seven Star Alliance, there are some from the Solar sect and some auxiliary or backup personnel from the other alliances.
The ocean breeds a lot of amphibious creatures that are being used as a way to target the Solar sect’s territory. The enemies on the other side, drive these creatures here like crazy and they try to invade this land.
Apart from that, the enemies also leave a lot of fugitives and criminals from their side on this land. In fact, those criminals that commit the most heinous crimes, like performing rituals with some very dark techniques are particularly given some power boots before they are sent on to this land.
They don’t know how they make their way, but they always end up here somehow. There are indeed some space gates connected to the other continent, but they are strictly controlled and there are some measures the solar sect has taken that put Sam in a bit of trouble.
“The major problem for us is that we might not be able to use any sort of spatial transference to go to that area.
The only place where the spatial transference between that land and this land is the coastal area. Apart from that, the rest of the areas are completely blocked.”
The players were stunned.
“The whole of Solar Sect’s territory is as big as a continent, how can the sect keep such a tight leash?”
“Well, it is pretty simple. Zeus is the fucking reason for that. He and the Olympians granted these people’s wish by giving out some special towers.”
Sam said as he pointed at a specific tower in a certain direction. It is actually the same square where they appeared as soon as they were delivered out of the competition.
There is a grey tower which Sam initially ignored because he didn’t feel anything special about it. But he never knew that it is so good that even his senses weren’t able to catch it.
“That tower right there is actually planted all over the continent. Not just in the solar sect, but in the other sect territories as well.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmAs well as spatial transportation by any means is done in the direction of the continent no matter how long or short, the nearest tower will get a ping.
They will immediately get the coordinates from where the transfer is happening and where to as well. It will even invade the spatial coordinates and get the spiritual signature of that person and mark it on the tower.
The news will reach the sect in charge in seconds and they have a station set up to get all the details the station can actually provide a transference scroll set to travel to and fro to the destination location.
If I use my spatial blink to move more than a mile from this place, the tower is going to get a ping a guy from the solar sect will be on my ass.
The same thing happens when someone comes from the direction of the continent to this continent.
Once some transfer happens on this side of the coast, things will go sideways once again.
Even the criminals that are sent into the continent are sent into the forests of the coast and the forces at the coast must try and find them before they just invade into the cities.
They even fail a lot.
Anyway, that’s beside the point, the thing that is stopping me the most is that we are not exactly sure of the coordinates of the place that we need to be at and we are also not sure that we would be safe as soon as we reach it.
It will be a tough call. Even if I make a transference scroll, a guy way more powerful than us will follow us there. So, I suggest we go there manually.”
“How are we going to do that? From the layout they have given us, we are permitted to move within those limits, the closest we can get to that point is almost fifty miles away from the coastal city, one of the defending bases of the coastline.
From there, the coast is another thirty miles or so and we don’t know how far the location is from there.
And these people are going to be on our tale throughout the construction. How are we going to do this?”
Noah looked as she marked a spot.
“Well, I thought about that. Since the gods are playing this game, I kind of want to take advantage of this. I am going to stir up a lot of trouble in this area and then find us a proper way to escape.”
Akhil stood up and said.
“Just tell me what is the fucking plan? What is with all the explanation?”
