Qin Hua eyed the cleansing potion longingly and then rolled back to Lu Chen. She suddenly felt a lot more energetic and was done resting.
She had the itch to go out hunting again but the sky had already darkened outside.
[Hmph! So what?]
Now that they had survived the initial 24 hours of the calamity that had befallen the entire planet, the normal zombies were no longer a threat to them.
In fact, these were no longer a threat to anyone who had survived up until now. Everyone would have absorbed one or more mana cores and their basic abilities would already be enhanced.
It now made more sense to actively hunt and grind as many as these weak zombies that they could get their hands on so that they could push their limits as much as possible.
If they don't do this fast enough, they would inevitably only lag behind others who manage to do grind more zombies and raise their stats.
Woof! Woof! Woof! Qin Hua sprang up on all her fours and started barking loudly.
[Let's go! Lu Chen! Get off your ass. Your master is ordering you!] She grinned excitedly, which made her look extremely monstrous. Everyone who looked at her shivered subconsciously.
But Lu Chen still had his calm smile plastered on his face. "Eh? Little white… what happened? More petting?"
[Damn it! Who wants your petting? Growl.]
[Umm… I mean… maybe later.] She then used her head to signal to the outside of the building and made small jumping actions to imply that she wanted to go out.
"Huh? You want to go out?" Lu Chen looked at her in confusion.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtQin Hua jumped up and down, nodding in agreement, her huge body making everyone nervous.
"Maybe the dog wants to take a piss?" Luo Zu suggested grumpily, already tired of the fuss kicked up by the giant overgrown demon dog.
Qin Hua was petrified!
[How dare he?!]
She turned around to give the man a nasty glare and let out a low growl as if she was warning him.
[Can I bite his head off?!]
Lu Chen chuckled at the expression on her face and then signaled Luo Zu to not say anything by placing his finger on his lips.
"I was just trying to help…" Luo Zu grumbled and quietly looked away.
[If you want to help, get the fuck out and kill some zombies! Hmph!] Qin Hua gave him another glare before turning back to Lu Chen.
She thought for a moment about how to communicate and then her bulb lit up. The daggers!
Qin Hua had been meaning to give the daggers she had picked up from the goblins to these guys. Those weapons were definitely better than the kitchen knives they had been using all this while.
She summoned her inventory, not even bothering to hide that she had special abilities at this point. Everyone had special abilities, so who would even care?
She was about to swipe and bring out the three daggers when she saw a string of unexpected words written above each dagger.

______________
[What the…]
The dog who was barking restlessly and jumping up and down just seconds ago had all of a sudden completely calmed down.
The others could only look at her with weird expressions, all of them coming to the same consensus. This dog was surely getting crazier by the minute!
As if nothing had happened, Qin Hua settled back next to Lu Chen and silently analyzed this new development.
[System, what are these coins? Can I use it to buy the items in the shop?]
That was the first question on her mind as it was getting ridiculously expensive to buy the things with her skill points.
She could even use them up on leveling some of her stagnant skills but it was all getting used up in potions and buying new skills. These never seem to be enough.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmNot to mention the health potions were nothing short of life saving. She hadn't used the mana potions just yet but she was pretty sure that they were equally valuable as well.
So she really hoped that there would be some other way to purchase these things. She blinked and waited and a second later the system's reply chimed in.
<Ding. Coins can also be used for purchasing limited items from the shop>
[Yay!] She bobbed her head up and down in excitement and quickly exchanged the three daggers with the system by selecting that option.
Weapons were indeed useful but she had her sharp canines and Lu Chen had his ice spears. Besides, she really wanted to use that cleansing potion to check how it would upgrade her body.
The first time she evolved she had received these incredible skills and she even became an entirely different beast, no longer just remaining the simple house dog.
Was this cleansing potion going to give an equally amazing result? Qin Hua licked her mouth in anticipation and summoned out the shop menu again.
She now had a total of 60 coins and though she didn't know the exact worth of a single coin, somehow this made her feel very rich.
But… just as the menu flashed in front of her, her expression paled.

It looked like only potions could be purchased with coins and none of the skills were accessible and unfortunately, these as well looked quite out of reach for her at the moment.
