Ning stepped through the portal and arrived on a mountaintop with trees everywhere. Both Black Halo and White Depth Field walked through the silver portal and arrived as well.
Ning brought out Saphandra who had made him promise to bring her out only after he had left being a hermit and went back to Earth.
"Did we leave?" she asked as soon as she came out. "We did, yahoo!"
"You can tell?" Ning asked amusingly.
"Of course," Saphandra said. "I can sense the Spiritual energy."
Ning's eyes narrowed. "You can sense wha—" his eyes moved away from where he was looking towards the empty space around him.
"Holy Shit! There really is Spiritual energy here," Ning thought.
"And Qi," Black Halo said. "I was assuming this world to not have any."
"Not in big amounts," Ning said. "There's Qi and Spiritual energy, but they barely make up anything. The energy that is available most is actually Mana."
"Is it?" Saphandra asked.
"I wonder how it is in the cities," Ning said. "Let's go to the city." He grabbed everyone and teleported away from the mountain.
Not even a few seconds after he left, smoke and mist appeared out of nowhere, gathering at the location where Ning had been.
A man appeared from within it, one with pitch-black eyes and no nose. His uncanny face turned towards the silver portal that was just starting to close up.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtA scary smile appeared on his face as he spoke in a language that did not originate from earth.
"Interesting!"

Ning arrived outside of a city he did not know the name of yet. It was the system that brought him here so the city was as much of a mystery to him as the 3 other people that were with him.
"Nope, the Qi isn't any denser here. I believe this is the extent of its thickness," Ning said.
"This Qi… it feels weird," White Depth Field said.
"It's not," Ning said. "It's rather your body that is acting weird in response to this new universe. Your universe constricts your strength quite a bit when you are born. If you compare two infants, your universe will always fall short. That is why you feel this way."
"I see," White Depth Field said.
"What about you? How are you feeling?" Ning asked.
"I… I can't divine anymore," Black Halo said with a face that wasn't happy or sad.
"You got what you wanted, be happy," Ning said. "Make sure not to get cursed again."
"I won't," Black Halo said.
"Anyway, where are we exactly?" Ning looked around.
<You are in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States>
"Oh, I'm in America?" Ning said with a smile on his face. "I remember being fascinated by this place as a child as they made it out to be the best country in the world."
"Let us go and see if there was any truth in my childish dreams."

Pennsylvania, USA
A blond-haired man in an official black suit and pants rushed through a hallway with a glowing electronic device in his hands that had some sort of stats showing all over it. He was freaking out for some reason as he hurried.
The men and women that were walking in the hallway were forced to step aside as the man didn't care if he slammed into them as he ran.
One of these times, he did slam into another man, tripping both of them.
"Hey! Watch where you're going," the other man shouted, but the young blond-haired man didn't respond.
Instead, he moved his hands around for the glasses that he had dropped and put them back on. The device he was carrying was not far away from him, so he quickly grabbed it and stood up to run away.
He didn't even apologize to the man he had knocked down.
"The hell is up with him today?" the man wondered and went back to his own job.
The blond-haired young man arrived in front of a massive door and opened it to arrive in a dimly lit up room with many screens all around him and the people working there.
There were images of various locations from all around the various states as well as many different places from all around the world under constant surveillance here.
The people in the room that seemed to be in a meeting suddenly turned towards him and frowned.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm"Gary, what the hell are you doing?" the man that was closest to him shouted immediately. "This is a classified meeting. Get the hell—"
"A Dungeon!" Gary spoke before the man could finish his words.
"What?" the man was confused.
Gary was winded from running so much, so all he could do was breathe heavily while he handed over the device in his hand to the man in the room.
The man looked at the screen and his eyes went wide. He turned to look towards the rest of the people with a shocked look on his face.
"What is it?" one of them asked.
Gary spoke from behind. "5 minutes ago, our systems detected a spatial anomaly in upper Utah. When we checked it through the satellites, we learned that a new dungeon has formed."
"A new dungeon?"
"Impossible!"
"There hasn't been a new one since 6 years ago."
The man looked at the information on his device and frowned. "This is a weird dungeon," he said. "Not only did it form so late, but it also formed in the mountains with barely any humans living in a dozen-mile radius. That goes against everything we know about dungeons."
"It is indeed weird, sir," Gary said.
The man did not hesitate. "Find the best hunters we have, tell the apostles to prepare, and send a preliminary party over to the mountains. I do not want this to turn into a Dungeon break. Make sure to determine the rank of the dungeon as soon as you can."
"As for the one that will be at the head of this operation," the man looked at Gary. "I will be assigning you, Gary Benton."
Gary was surprised. "Me?"
