Reincarnated as an Energy with a System-Novel
Chapter 1276 Shape of the UniverseChapter 1276 Shape of the Universe
"The same spot?" Ning asked curiously. "Do you mean as in they exist in the same space? Like two things that phase through each other."
<Saying that they exist in the same space would be wrong as Space itself is not something that exists outside of the realm of Matter, but that analogy is the closest that could be used to explain their existence.>
"I see," Ning said. "So, to get this straight, the Realm of Soul and the Realm of Energy is like a collection of soups with the occasional pieces of veggies that are the Realm of Matters."
<It could be explained that way>
"I get it now," Ning said, having a better idea now of how the world worked. However with that knowledge cleared up, the other questions that were in his mind started coming forward. And one of them was about the singularity that he had just heard of.
"So the universe is created from a singularity with so much energy that everything else including Space, Time, and Matter formed from it," he asked.
<Yes>
"And it continues to grow, correct?" he asked.
<Until a certain point. The size of the universe is dependent on the amount of Energy that was there when it was created. It then grows until it has the power to push back the Energy surrounding it outside>
<The moment it can no longer push back the energy, it stops growing>
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtNing thought for a moment and asked, "How long into a universe's lifetime do you think this happens?" <About 20% of the way through the creation of a universe, the size of the universe is already set up at that point.>
"20?" Ning asked. "Really?"
<Much less sometimes, even going so low as just 5% of its existence.>
"5%?" Ning found that quite hard to believe. "That would mean that a universe is as large as it could be just some time after its birth. Is that how it is?"
<Yes>
"Hmm, I don't know why I expected it to somehow take billions of years," Ning said. "Or is that the time frame we're talking about."
<Very large universes can take billions of years to reach their full size, but regular universes do it in a couple hundred million years, or a billion or two years at best>
Ning frowned a little when he heard that. Something about what he knew about the universe didn't match with what he was finding out. This chapt????r is updat????d by ɴovelFɪre.net
"My universe, the one where Earth originally was," he said. "If I remember it correctly, it was a few billion years old when I was born there and left there, wasn't it?"
<Over 25 Billion years old, yes.>
"25? I thought it was 13-something. Anyway, not the point of the question," Ning said. "How large would you categorize that universe compared to the other ones."
<Above Average>
"Okay, and how long did that universe take to expand to its largest size?" Ning asked.
<Around 6 Billion years into the making>
"6 billion years?" Ning asked. Now that didn't make any sense to him. Or at least, whatever the humans thought they had figured out about the universe was completely incorrect. To be fair, they never did get to see the entire universe, only a portion of it so maybe it was a bit understandable.
Still, Ning wanted to know where the confusion was.
"If the universe stopped expanding around 6 billion years after its formation, then what happens to the galaxies that are thrust around the universe?" he asked. "is the universe so large that they still have ages to fill it entirely?"
<No. Space and Matter grow at the same speed. By the time space is finalized, the matter will have already filled it up entirely.>
"That's… confusing," Ning said. "So if the universe is completely formed in 6 Billion years, then what about the matter? Does it suddenly stop at the edge of the Universe, or does it continue moving and smashing into the edge of the universe?"
"I guess I'm trying to learn what happens at the edge of the universe," he said.
<The edge of the universe is a barrier that stops the Realm of Energy from affecting the Realm of Matter. There are ways for the energy to seep through to the Universe, and seep out of it, but there is never a direct opening through the barrier.>
<When the universe is to die, all matter, space, and time will enter the many black holes that would have formed and go back out into the Realm of Energy>
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm<As for the matter that is moving throughout the universe, they are already at the edge of the universe, and won't truly ever smash into it.>
Ning paused for a moment. "They can never reach the edge of the universe?" he asked. "What do you mean?"
<The shape of the universe just doesn't allow for matter to smash into the edge.>
"Shape of the universe?" Ning asked. "It's a sphere, isn't it? I would assume it all expanded equally, so it should be a sphere. If not, an elliptical shape?"
<The Universe's shape is neither sphere nor elliptical. It is instead a Myroptoid.>
"A… what?" Ning asked.
<A Myroptoid, otherwise known as Hypersphere, is a Four-Dimensional shape created by introducing another dimension to a Sphere.>
Ning couldn't help but frown. "I don't think I get it," he said. "The Universe is actually Four-dimensional?"
<It indeed is.>
"How come we never knew that?" Ning asked. "How come we don't see the other dimension?"
<Matter is 3 dimensional by nature. So any living being, no matter how powerful can never perceive the fourth dimension at all. Only Time and Space can interact in the four dimensions>
"Only Space and Time?" Ning asked.
<Energy and Soul too, but that is obvious as they regularly go in and out of the universe. It wouldn't be possible if they couldn't perceive the fourth dimension.>
Ning felt frustrated. "What the hell does that even…" he sighed. "But didn't you say that we're already at the edge of the universe?"
"Can you explain what that means?"
