Chapter 1394 Watch
Watch of Destiny / Watch of Fate / Oracle Dial / Oracle Watch / Watch of Augury / Omen Watch / Watch of Future Telling / Premonition Dial
A wearable watch that is capable of telling the future of the person who wears it. The owner of this treasure is granted vague premonition about the future and the period of twhen it is going to occur.
There are 5 sets of future the watch can tell from, based on the colors on the dial.
A White dial represents a perfectly normal future with nothing bad or good happening in the near future.
A Blue dial represents something exciting or lucky being in the owner's immediate future.
A Green dial represents something good or satisfying in the owner's immediate future.
A Red dial represents something sad or tragic being in the owner's immediate future.
A Black dial represents a very abnormal future with something very bad, possibly fatal, happening in the near future.
The maximum tknown to be shown through this watch has been 8 hours and 33 minutes in the past. Ning, Jasmine, Tim, and the man read through the text that had appeared in the book.
"What is that book?" the man asked, but nobody answered. "A watch that can tell the future," Tim said softly and stared at the watch in front of him. The watch was a pocket watch made to fit like a wearable watch with leather straps created to perfectly hold the pocket watch.
Ning let go of the man's arm and the man quickly grabbed the watch and took it back. "Don't take my watch without my permission," the man said. "You have no right to do so."

"You do realize we healed you back to normal, right?" Jasmine asked.
"You did?" he asked.
"Well, no," Jasmine answered. "He did."
Ning closed the book and it vanished somewhere within. "I finished reading the entire thing, and nowhere does it say that the watch can tell you the future. It can only tell you how the future is going to be."
"Yes," the man said, his mind still hung up on the book. "So?" "So? You said the Zeppelin was going to get destroyed," Tim said from the side. "You made it sound like there were terrorists in the cabin, or we were going to hit something in the air and cause the Zeppelin to explode. But nothing of that sort happened at all."
"Oh… right," the man quickly looked at the watch. "Blue?" he said softly. The twas soon too.
"Was it Red or Black?" Ning asked, causing the man to look back up.
"Hmm? Oh, it was black," he answered.
"So… danger to life, huh?" Ning said and chuckled a little.
"I could swear it was about the Zeppelin. Weird, this is the first tthe watch had lied to me," the man said.
"What do you mean?" Tim asked.
"Hmm? Just what I said," he answered. "It gaveblack, but nothing bad happened at all."
Jasmine's eyes were wide in shock and Tim didn't know whether to laugh or slap the stupidity out of this man who was nearly a decade older than him.
"Did you not realize what happened to you?" he asked him. "You nearly died. Did you know how close to death you were?"
The man's eyes wandered around as he thought through things and slowly it all clicked together. "Ah! So that was what the watch meant!" he said. "Wait, so it was never about the Zeppelin?"
"Why did you think it was about the Zeppelin?" Ning asked.
"Well, before I left, my family kept tellinghow dangerous Zepeplins were, so… I kinda got terrified into believing something bad was going to happen to it," he said softly.
"And you never stopped to think how what you did could backfire on you?" Ning asked.
The man shrank into the seat, trying to hide his face. "I… I panicked, okay? I saw black and… I have never seen black before."
"You don't have to explain. We get it," Ning said. "Do you want to return to your cabin?"
The man slowly nodded. "I probably should," he said. He pulled the sleeve on his wrist and showed another wristwatch, only this one actually told time.
Ning couldn't help but laugh out loud when he saw that. Tim and Jasmine snickered as well. It was a truly hilarious sight to see someone wear two watches on one wrist.
The man slowly rolled down his sleeves. "I see we still have 5 hours before we arrive," he said and stood up to leave. "If you will excuse me, I will go rest now."

"What's your name?" Ning asked just as he was leaving.
The man stopped. "Tony," he replied. "Tony Scardon."
Tim's eyes widened suddenly. "Dr Tony Scardon?" he asked. "From the University of Hansworth?"
Tony looked at Tim. "You know of me?" he asked.
"I do," Tim quickly said. "I am Timothy. I'm a student at the University of Tremala. My father follows your work and so do I. Your work in understanding the reason behind the existence of Zurin Treasures is truly a wonderful research subject."
The man stood with a slightly more prideful look on his face. "Well, I can't take all the credit myself. I have a group of people helping me, but still, thank you."
"Research on Zurin Treasure's existence?" Ning asked.
"About how they cto be. What the mist is and such," Tim answered.
"What is there to learn?" Jasmine asked. "Zurinus creates these things. Everyone knows that."
"That's not entirely possible," Tony answered. "So, I am seeking real answers."
Ning smiled softly. "Are you curious? Should I tell you?" he asked.
Tony looked back. "You have the answer?" he asked.
Ning's smile grew wider.
The countdown on Tony's watch ended.
