Sebastian's kick was as fast as lightning, catching Apex completely off guard.
He had no tto retract his blade for defense, so he instinctively raised his left arm to block the kick.
A resounding blast echoed as the terrifying force of Sebastian's strike caused Apex to stumble, nearly knocking him off his feet.
Apex stomped his foot into the ground, creating a deep pit, barely managing to steady himself. His arm throbbed with intense pain, feeling as if it had been shattered.
Before Apex could catch his breath, Sebastian's other foot was already flying toward his face.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtShocked and furious, Apex was forced to use his left arm to shield himself again.
Another blast followed, sending shockwaves through Apex's body. The kick had caused him to stagger back repeatedly. Each step left a deep imprint on the ground as he struggled to maintain his balance.
Blood surged within him, nearly making him cough it up as panic gripped his heart. Sebastian's strength had far exceeded his expectations.
Sebastian smirked coldly. Without giving Apex a chance to recover, he pushed off the ground like a leopard and charged forward with incredible speed.
"Go to hell!" Apex roared, planting his foot firmly on the ground to stabilize himself.
He gripped his large blade with both hands and slashed it toward Sebastian. But Sebastian sidestepped the attack effortlessly and landed a punch squarely on Apex's face.
The speed of Sebastian's punch was so fast that Apex barely had tto react before the blow connected. With a dull thud, Apex was sent flying with several of his teeth scattering in the air.
Before he could hit the ground, Sebastian was already upon him again. He delivered another uppercut that launched Apex higher into the air, sending more teeth flying. Everyone watching was stunned. Apex was the Divine's top young warrior, yet he was utterly defenseless against an unarmed Sebastian. It was beyond belief. Isaac abruptly stood up, his eyes now brimming with murderous intent.
"Mr. Parker, have a seat and enjoy stea," Bradley said with a sly grin.
Although Bradley might not be a match for Isaac in a one-on-one fight, he knew that with Edwin, Bruce, and Julian on his side, they could take on even the strongest opponent. Even the renowned Priest of Light would struggle against their combined might.
Isaac understood this as well, so he had no choice but to suppress his anger, though he was seething on the inside. The sight of Sebastian brutally beating his grandson filled him with rage. "How impressive! Mr. Flynn is so mighty!" "I never imagined Mr. Flynn was this strong. He's incredible!" The people of Phaedra Island erupted in cheers, their applause thundering through the air.
Bradley also beamed with pride. He never expected his son to have grown so powerful, as if he was almost on par with the elders.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmIn time, he was sure Flynn could reach the sheights as the Priest of Light. When that day came, the Yorks would bask in unprecedented glory.
With a crash, Apex fell from a height of nearly 25 feet, slamming into the ground and creating a large crater.
For a late-stage pinnacle divine grandmaster like him, the fall was not a big deal. The real damage came! from the two punches to his face, t which left his mouth bloody and noticeably misshapen. What's worse was that he had lost several teeth, making him look utterly ghastly.
"You bastard! I'm going to you!" Apex roared, his anger boiling over. He scrambled to his feet and charged at Sebastian again Before the battle, he had boasted that he'd knock Sebastian's teeth out, but now it was his own teeth littering the ground. The humiliation was unbearable, and he knew he had becthe laughingstock of the crowd.
This was the greatest disgrace of his life, and one he could not tolerate. He needed to kill Sebastian to salvage his pride. Yet Apex was still blind to the fact that there was a significant gap in strength between him and Sebastian.
Meanwhile, Sebastian stood his ground. He merely watched with a cold smile as Apex charged toward him. "Die!" Apex yelled.
