Deirdre felt warm and fuzzy in her heart upon hearing how he cared about her. She remembered something and

said, “You don’t want the company anymore?”

The wish in the depths of her heart was not to be the wife of a wealthy man from an influential family nor live a

lavish life but to spend her days with someone she loved. However, Brendan refused to fulfill that trivial wish of
