Chapter 110 Alexander didn't believe in Caleb's words.
However, since he had already promised Caleb to give Skylar a chance, he couldn't call it off when the Interview just began.
Besides, he had nothing scheduled for that morning. He could stick around and let Caleb see that Skylar wasn't who he thought she was.
Though Alexander had to admit, Skylar was a pretty girl. She was definitely the type of a young man like Caleb would like.
However, she didn't look like she belonged in this field. She didn't give off that sense of reliability.
When the two other candidates handed in their answers, the interviewers looked at all of their answers.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThey purposely placed Skylar's answer at the bottom and looked at the other two candidates' answers first.
In their line of work, they had to take things seriously. There was no room for jokes when it comes to antiques. Since Skylar treated the interview as a joke, they weren't about to respect her either.
The two candidates beside Skylar were getting tense. Everyone kept saying that Alexander's team had strict standards. It definitely looked like it, as well.
The fakes were incredibly convincing. If they hadn't spent years in this field, they probably couldn't tell the difference.
When the interviewers checked the two candidates' answers, they seemed unsurprised by the results.
When they first joined the team, they couldn't spot all the fakes too. Sof the items were crafted so perfectly they looked identical to the real thing.
Finally, they turned to look at Skylar's answers. At first, they didn't think much of it. After all, she completed the task too quickly.
Skylar remained calm. She wasn't nervous at all.
Yet, in the monitoring room, Caleb was on edge and took a deep breath.
Alexander glanced at Caleb. "Why are you so tense?" "I'm not tense. Skylar is the real deal. If she's not worried, why should I be?" Caleb replied while trying to sound confident.
Alexander grunted. Watching from the monitor, Skylar did seem genuinely relaxed. He wasn't sure if it was just an act When the interviewers checked Skylar's answers, they exchanged glances with each other and were all stunned.
Chapter 110 2/2 She had answered all of them correctly. She successfully identified all the fakes. Ever since they joined the team, they had never met someone who could answer all of them correctly.
If it were to be someone who had worked in the team for years, of course, they would be able to identify the fakes. However, this was Skylar's first tinterviewing.
Skylar noticed the interviewers staring at her. She asked with a polite smile, "Is there something wrong with my answers?" "No, not at all," One of them replied.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmThe fact that there was no problem was the problem.
Luckily, they managed to keep their composure. One of them then said, "Followto the next stage of the interview." One of the interviewers took all of the candidates' answers to the monitor room.
Caleb saw what was going on and felt his anxiety rise.
What did their reactions mean? What would happen if Skylar failed to identify the fake ones?
Skylar was impressive. It was Alexander's ridiculously convinding fake antiques fault if she couldn't spot them.
"Do you still want to keep watching?" Alexander asked.
"Of course," Caleb said while acting tough. "I want you to see for yourself how skilled Skylar is at restoring antiques. Honestly, your fakes are too good. It would be normal if she missed a few."
Alexander was speechless while watching Caleb acting tough. Hen didn't know what to make of him anymore.
