Chapter 910
Jackson cut straight to the chase. "Today, I am here to announce that I have found my biological daughter, Nicole
Anderson."
Right away, Nicole ascended the stage in her formal dress. She was no stranger to the reporters below, given that
she had shared countless ambiguities with Colton, and now that it was revealed that she was the biological heir of
the Wrenns, the news was simply explosive.
Right as the crowd was dumbfounded, Jackson continued, "This afternoon, my daughter, Nicole, will be engaged to
Colton Gardner as 'Miss Wrenn.' All of you are welcome to attend the ceremony."
Those words, resembling a bomb being tossed into a tranquil ocean, caused a massive ripple. Unable to remain
composed, the reporters instantly shot a volley of questions.
"Old Mr. Wrenn, wasn't it declared that Miss Evelyn will be the one marrying Colton Gardner? Why has it become

"That's right. Previously, there was shocking news claiming that President Gardner and Miss Wrenn slept together,
and the latter even attempted to commit suicide. Can you tell us more about that?"
There was no end to the questions.
The situation was a complete mess as the reporters trampled over each other, shooting questions at Jackson.
Regardless, there wasn't much change in Jackson's face as he retained his stern look. Thereupon, he glared across
the crowd with his deep eyes before dully stating, "The engagement has always been between Nicole and Colton,
but the reason we didn't disclose Nicole's identity was that she thought it was a hassle. And thanks to some ignorant
rumors, the public was led to a misunderstanding. Hence, I took this opportunity to clear things up."
A persistent reporter then questioned, "Then about Miss Wrenn's attempted suicide…"
Jackson narrowed his eyes and hoarsely answered, "No such thing. She was fooling around and accidentally cut her
hand."
"What about the night Colton and Miss Wrenn slept together…"
"Fabricated."
No matter what question was thrown at Jackson, he deflected them with brief answers.
As such, the reporters were rendered speechless. Since they were unable to waver him, they turned their attention
to Nicole.
"Miss Anderson, rumors were claiming that you have had a child with President Gardner, but because your father,
William Anderson, crashed a car into Old Mrs. Gardner, causing her death, you guys stopped developing your
relationship. Is that true?"
"Yeah, Miss Anderson. We've even heard that it was you who donated your blood to rescue Madam Gould, who was
hospitalized after a car crash. Did you take advantage of the debt to force the Wrenns into recognizing you as their
daughter so that you can marry Colton?"
Nicole raised her head. She was promised that there wouldn't be any unpleasant questions, yet she was now being

coming from the reporters. With a calm face, she steadily replied, "You sure flatter me, thinking that someone like
me could ever threaten the Wrenns." Her voice bore breeziness and she seemed unfocused when she was
answering the question.
Meanwhile, below the stage, Siobhan tensed her brows and immediately called for her assistant before she
questioned in irritation, "Didn't you say it was settled?"
"Yes, we have even paid them off, but for some reason, they are still making such inquiries," the assistant warily
stated. The reporters were already bribed, and they, supposedly, should only be here as a formality. Yet, they were
asking such violative questions.
Without questioning further, Siobhan turned to Nicole, who was serenely answering the reporters' questions.
"So, Miss Anderson, do you admit to threatening the Wrenns with the debt?" The reporters popped a fatal question.
In response, Nicole let out a scoff as she stared back at the questioning reporter, countering, "If you were to
possess all the courage in the world, would you dare to do it?"
