However, the restless heat inside him felt better than the feeling of being drugged.

Colton placed his fingers on his collar and tugged it to loosen the tie around his neck, making him feel somewhat

better.

As the car continued to move forward, Colton slightly turned his body to look at Nicole.

In the meantime, Nicole wasn't as calm as him. Her body was red all over, and she was constantly squirming in her

seat, seemingly restless.

Colton's eyes darkened a little as he ordered the driver, "Step on it."

When the driver heard that, he quickly stepped on the accelerator, and the originally cruising car sped off like an

arrow off its bow.

It was a half-hour drive from the banquet venue to Colton's home. However, Colton ordered the driver to drive

faster, so the driver put the pedal to the metal and reached their destination in just twenty minutes.

Following that, Colton got out of the car while Nicole was still leaning against the back seat in her blurry state. She

had unbuttoned the buttons on her bodycon dress until her chest.

Nicole dazedly opened her eyes, revealing her black, watery eyes. Anyone who saw her now would feel tempted to

taint her.

With a glum expression, Colton picked her up and ordered the driver, "You can go back now."

After saying that, he brought Nicole into the house.

In the meantime, Nicole wasn't feeling comfortable inside Colton's arms. They were so close to each other that they

could clearly feel the hot temperature on each other's bodies.

Nicole pushed Colton's chest somewhat disdainfully and muttered, "Get away from me! It's hot!"

Colton hugged her even tighter as he was afraid that she would fall. While watching her struggle in his arms, he

couldn't help but reprimand jokingly, "You ungrateful woman. I was nice enough to bring you home, yet you keep

pushing me."

However, Nicole couldn't hear any of that. She grunted out of discomfort and wanted to slap the person trapping

her in such a hot embrace. Unfortunately for her, Colton had strong arms and was hugging her tightly.

After heading upstairs and putting her onto the bed, Colton finally felt relieved.

When Nicole felt the bed under her, she rolled around and lay down sprawled out. She felt like she was about to die

from the heat. Her entire body was heating up, scorching to the touch even, making her uncomfortable.

Then, she reached out and touched her collar before unbuttoning all the buttons near it, wanting to take off her

clothes.

Meanwhile, Colton stood by the bedside and watched with displeased eyes. He then reached out to pin Nicole's

hands down while warning, "Nicole, stop tempting me."

Nicole forced her eyelids open but took one look at the man before her and reprimanded, "Go away."

Tsk. What an ungrateful woman, thought Colton.

After that, he went inside the bathroom to fill the tub with water. He guessed that while they were toasting

everyone at the banquet, Wendy must have given them some sort of infused liqueur or something that caused

them to feel so hot.

Perhaps taking a bath and soaking for a while would help cool us down.

Seeing that the tub was filled with enough water, he went back outside.

Since he was feeling agitated and hot, he took off his coat and was about to call Nicole over to take a bath when he

was stunned by the scene on his bed.

Nicole had taken off her dress at some point and was lying under the bright light, which seemed to have added a

layer of white glow onto her snowy white body. She only had her undergarments on, and her long hair was messed

up during her struggle and was now scattered.

At this moment, Colton felt like he would be impotent if he could still hold in his desires.

He had ideas about Nicole in the first place, and now, the woman he liked was lying half-naked on his bed while

looking at him somewhat 'affectionately.'

That instantly caused Colton to feel dryness in his mouth.

He took a deep breath to suppress his desire before slowly approaching her. "Nicky, get up. I filled the tub with

water so that you could have a soak. It'll make you feel better."
