Chapter 950 Interrogation

"Do you think Evelyn did it?" she turned to Colton and asked.

"I thought of that too, but Evelyn has been out of the Gould Residence since our engagement. She went to an

She answered the call. "Hello?"

"Hayden has been poisoned and is in the hospital. Nicole and Colton have returned from abroad," the voice on the

other end said succinctly with a hint of amusement.

"So fast?" Evelyn was surprised. She thought it would take a while.

"I don't waste time on anything. You can come back to the Wrenn Residence now," Sasha said with a smile.

Evelyn was an easy person to persuade. She agreed with just a few words. "Okay, I got it." She had been relaxing

for too long and it was time to return.

After a moment of thought, Sasha added, "Oh, there's some news for you. Nicole is pregnant."

Evelyn's smile disappeared instantly. She tightened her hold on her phone and her breath caught in her chest. Not

quite believing what she had heard, she asked again, "What did you say?"

"Nicole is pregnant, about a month along. It's probably around when she and Colton got engaged," Sasha drawled.

Evelyn was angry when she heard the news, but she quickly calmed down. She swore to not allow Nicole to give

birth to the child.

"She's such a b*tch!" Evelyn hissed in a low voice. She was so angry that her eyes turned red.

Previously, Siobhan claimed that the engagement was fake, but the duo had now happily played along.

Evelyn was so angry that her chest was heaving as a gleam of cruelness flashed in her eyes.

"Don't worry. Calm down. Hayden wasn't poisoned too deeply this time, so it's not fatal. Colton and the Gould Family

are already investigating. I can't intervene again. You go back to the Wrenn Residence and keep an eye on the

situation. Let me know if there are any developments," Sasha said to soothe her. She didn't want to expose herself

because of Evelyn's foolishness.
