Chapter 951 The Return of Evelyn

Evelyn looked down. After pondering for a moment, she began, "All right. I get it. I won't let that b*stard

Noticing the tired look on Nicole's face, Colton cupped her face with a smile. His fingers gently circled

massaging her temples.

"You can go back to your work." Colton dismissed the servants in a low tone.

She had a hard time pinning it down. The culprit is cautious and made a perfect plan. I can't believe

they didn't leave any traces behind. After that, she bit her lower lip as she reviewed the servants'

testimony in her mind. A familiar and clear voice startled her from her thoughts. "Collie, what are you

doing here?"

Nicole opened her eyes slightly, only to see Evelyn standing at the door. There was a big suitcase next

to her.

A smile remained on Evelyn's face as she steadied the suitcase. Even though she was met by the sight

of Nicole leaning in Colton's embrace, she didn't throw a fit like usual. A chuckle escaped her before

she continued, "What a surprise to see both of you at my house. I didn't expect to see that many

servants gathering together when I came home. What happened? Is something wrong?"

The casual smile on Evelyn's face made Nicole frown. She stared at Evelyn, trying to see the woman's

real motive through her expression.

Nicole remembered when they parted ways, Evelyn was holding a grudge against her at that time. It

hasn't been very long. How has she changed so much?

Narrowing her eyes, Nicole replied coldly, "It's nothing."

Evelyn kept a smile on her face. Dragging the suitcase with her as she stepped inside the house, she

added with the same smile, "That's good to hear. I just got back from the island. After spending a few

days of vacation alone, I have come to my senses. Collie, I apologize for my immaturity earlier. You can

rest assured now. I won't bother you without a good reason in the future."

Even Colton found Evelyn's behavior strange. She seems like a different person to me.

Even so, he didn't remark further about it. He only hummed a quiet response before falling back to

silence.

A look of hatred flickered across Evelyn's face at the sight of the pair not far away sharing an intimate

moment, but it didn't draw their attention since she managed to suppress it with ease.

some rest." With that, she headed upstairs with her suitcase in tow.
