Chapter 97 1 woke up sometlater when I felt the couch shift under me. Jake was sitting by my head, and when he saw my eyes were open, he ran a hand through my hair.

"It's all right, sweetheart. We are in the air and should be landing in about an hour." Why don't you try to go h back to sleep?" I mumbled my agreement, but wanting to be closer to jake, I sat up and climbed into his lap, reaching behindto pull the blanket back over me. Jake chuckled at my groggy movements and settledinto a more comfortable position on his lap before coveringback up. Thank you, Jakey. Love you," I mumbled into his shoulder before falling asleep again.

I awoke for the second twhen I felt jake moving. Lifting my head from his shoulder, I looked around.

Everyone else was standing and gathering their things. I was so confused. Did I sleep through the entire fight? I looked up at lake, and he nodded, having read the confusion on my face.

"Yes, sweetheart, you slept through the entire fight. Can you walk, or would you liketo carry you to the car?" It was too many questions for tired brain, so I laid my head back on Jake's shoulder. He chuckled, kissed my forehead, and then stood and descended the stairs.

When we reached the car, Jake passedoff to Mike so he could climb into it. Okay, honey, I need you to stand up now," Mike said, settingdown and holding onto my waist until he was sure I was steady. *Okay, I miss the lake house abready, Jake said as we crept along. There was an accident on the freeway, and our forty-five-minute drive hturned Into almost two hours. The others murmured their agreement, and I perked up.

"We could turn around and head back there now," I said hopefully.

"Sorry, love, not this time," Patrick leaned forward from the third row and squeezed my shoulder.

Jamie and Sean had left our bags in the entryway, and after a few quiet words with Patrick, they both left. We each grabbed our bag and returned to the guy's side of the house. I dropped my bag on the floor of my room, not wanting to unpack right now, and returned to the living room with my book. I flopped into the corner of the couch and began reading, waiting for the guys to join me.

Drew cinto the living room, stopping to kiss me. He said the pizza was here, and he was going downstairs to get it. I put my book down, and went to get plates and drinks out. By the tDrew cback upstairs with the boxes of pizza, the others had emerged from their rooms, and we all sast down and ate.

Dinner was quiet, everyone lost in their own thoughts. Once we had finished cleaning up from dinner Josh spoke up. Lets cup with a plan for tomorrow so we can get an m early start. I will call our realtor first thing tomorrow morning with the list Power of places we want to see, and hopefully we will get to see most of them tomorrow. We all agreed it was a good idea, and everyone pulled out their phones, we narrowd down where we wanted to look to three different small towns, far enough away from the city to make it peaceful, but close enough for school and work. Then cthe fun part, making a list of the places we thought would work well for us.

It only has five bedrooms, but it's ten thousand square feet, so if we decide we need more rooms there's plenty of space. It also comes with forty-five acres, so We have lots of privacy. Plus it already had a gym, and a theater room. Theres also a separate shop/guest house and there is enough room to put in a pool if we want." The others crowded aroundas we looked through the pictures, and by the twe were done scrolling through the photos, the guys were just as excited as I was. "It is an hour from the city though, so I don't know if that's going to be to much of a drive?" This was the only downside to this perfect house...
