Chapter 348.1 Not the Truth I
“Let
go
of me,” Imogen said coldly.
Liam looked at her, his fingers tightening.
“Let her go!”
Suddenly, a male voice came from around the corner.
Imogen was in a panic.
She thought, “Damn it. What’s Troy doing here? Did he even hear what I just said? Will he
misunderstand me?”
Troy strode over and yanked Liam’s wrist away. He stepped in front of Imogen and stared sharply at
Liam, asserting his right. “She made it very clear. Liam, she doesn’t like you. Don’t bother her from now
on!”
“Let’s go.”
Troy took Imogen’s hand and went forward.
Imogen Kesitated and followed.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtLiam stood still. Watching the two leave, he closed his eyes in agony.
As they walked around the corner, Imogen slowed down and sighed.
“What? Are you heartbroken?” Troy glanced at her and smiled wistfully.
Liam was indeed everywhere.
However, Troy also had to thank Liam, If Liam hadn’t bothered Imogen, Troy wouldn’t have known that
Imogen liked him and was already planning to make up with him.
The news made Troy feel as sweet as honey. He couldn’t help but jump for joy.
Imogen glanced at him and asked, “Why are you here?”
Sure enough, looking at the smile on the corner of Troy’s mouth, Imogen thought he must have
misunderstood.
“I had a dinner meeting,” Troy said, “I’ll drive you back.”
“Nah. I didn’t drink.”
“Then I’ll take your car back,” Troy smiled.
Imogen was speechless.
“Did you finish your dinner?” She couldn’t help but ask.
“Yes,” Troy replied.
They were the only two in the elevator.
Imogen looked up at the electronic screen displaying the floor in the upper right corner without blinking.
Troy looked at her, his eyes passionate, and smiled. He was in a happy mood.
He knew Imogen would make up with him, but he didn’t think it would be so soon.
Fortunately, he had come here to hear her that
way.
Troy’s ardent gaze lingered on Imogen for a long time, and she was getting nervous from the stare.
She glanced over at Troy, catching a glimpse of his flirtatious expression, and couldn’t help the

smile at the corner of her mouth.
She thought she should tell him the truth.
Imogen cleared her throat. “Troy.”
“What?” Troy asked.
At that moment, the elevator reached the underground garage.
Imogen stepped out first. “Let’s talk in the car.”
Seeing her solemn look, Troy thought, “Does she want to tell me to make up officially?”
A glint of anticipation flashed in Troy’s eyes.
Troy had drunk a little at the dinner meeting, so Imogen drove.
She drove out of the underground garage and merged into traffic, moving smoothly forward.
Troy sat in the passenger side and asked, “What did you just want to tell me?”
“Well. Take it easy if I tell you.” Imogen stared ahead.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm“Of course,” Troy said.
Although Troy found it very exciting to make up with her, he restrained himself and reserved his honor
and decency.
“How much of what I just said to Liam did you hear?” Imogen asked.
“I heard everything,” Troy replied.
Liam had gone so far as to discredit him behind his back!
Luckily, Imogen believed in him.
“I’ll get right to the point then,” Imogen said.
“Okay.”
“In fact, the things I’ve said…”
“All from your heart?” Troy thought.
Troy cocked his head at her, a smile in his
eyes.
“It was not the truth.”
The smile on Troy’s face froze for a split second and disappeared immediately.
Had he heard wrong?
Imogen didn’t hear Troy’s answer and tensed a bit inside. She turned, glanced at him, and immediately
turned back again.
Troy pursed his lips, and his smile had faded. He sounded a bit sorrowful. “Say that again.” “I didn’t
mean any of the things I said.” Imogen’s voice was much fainter.
“What do you mean?” Troy asked.
