Spoiled by Eight Uncles (Lily)

The small ghost beast followed Lilly and happily started another barbecue in a cave.

They had been eating steamed seafood, grilled seafood, and spicy seafood for so long that they were tired of it.

"Squeak?" The small ghost beast held a fork with a piece of meat on it.

Maybe they should try a different flavor next time? They were getting rather tired of seafood.

Lilly nodded while sprinkling some seasoning on the food and said, "Sure. | don't see why not. Let's see what other delicious things we can find on this land." Speedy quickly expressed its fervent agreement on the issue.

Lilly sighed wearily as she murmured, "If only we had the Nether map." She wasn't doing this just to hunt down more delicious prey. She also had a loftier goal in mind - to find places where they could cultivate better.

Squeaky nodded, agreeing with everything the young master said.

Lilly placed the processed Stinger's Beast King in the pot. After eating a few bites of grilled meat, she started drinking the soup.

"Huh?" She paused for a moment.

"The meat of this Stinger's Beast King seems different from its kin." Lilly took another sip of soup and a bite of meat.

Indeed, it was different! The meat of a Ninth-level demon beast was much more delicious than the meat of other ordinary beasts she had eaten.

Moreover, it contained much stronger spirit energy! The small ghost beast scooped a spoonful with its special little spoon and quickly ate it after blowing on it twice.

Immediately, its eyes lit up in glee! "Squeak! Squeak!" Speedy also took a sip, although it looked like it was pouring soup on its face.

Then, its leg hair started to float. "Wow!" Lilly, Squeaky, and Speedy sighed with contentment on their faces.

They never expected that the stronger the monster beast, the more powerful the absorbed spirit energy would be.

If that were the case...

Lilly suddenly recalled the large beasts she saw roaming across the Nether when she was riding on the back of the Black Dragon.

If she could devour all those giant beasts, would she instantly achieve a breakthrough in her cultivation? She didn't dare to dwell upon the matter! No, she had to keep calm and focus on the present.

Still, that didn't mean she wasn't excited and eager to test out that theory.

Lilly felt like her stomach was about to burst after gorging herself on the Stinger's Beast King's meat. So, she made herself comfortable as she started to "digest" her meal - converting everything she had eaten into her own strength! During this process, Lilly suddenly discovered a problem.

Why was she still relying on the elixir field to provide spirit energy even though she had become so powerful? Was there a way for her body to continuously provide spirit energy during battles? The previously rotating purple golden substance did achieve this. However, it could only replenish her depleted spirit energy during minor skirmishes.

Unfortunately, it wasn't enough when she had to fight for her life during major battles. This was proven when she was fighting "Godzilla" at the bottom of the pool and when she was battling the black-robed man. Now that she thought about it, the spirit energy provided by the golden substance was insufficient even when she needed it to pass through that horrendous doorway! The rotation speed was not fast enough to fuel her needs.

It acted like a car running out of gas and was in desperate need of refueling. She couldn't help but wonder whether she could create something like a solar panel that had the capability to automatically refuel itself while on the move.

If she could pull that off, that would be fantastic! She couldn't help but get excited as her train of thought derailed elsewhere. The vision of herself still raring to go for a fight while others were exhausted made her feel motivated. Who could possibly defeat her if she had all that energy in her body? The longer Lilly thought about it, the more feasible it seemed. So, she started researching how to create such a "solar panel” within herself.

She knew that whenever the golden substance started rotating, it was converting energy into spirit energy. Therefore, it would be able to provide her with spirit energy.

So, what would happen if she accelerated the rotation speed of the golden substance? Lilly was currently cultivating her own newly discovered Order. Thus, she only needed to envision the change, and the golden substance would emit a hum before transforming according to her intentions! The rotation speed doubled, leaving only afterimages in its wake! Lilly didn’t know how effective it would be. So, she closed her elixir field and prepared to give it a field test. She needed to know whether the rotation of the golden substance alone could provide the spirit energy she needed.

By the time she left the cave, the battle between the Flame Beasts and the Stingers had already ended. The Stingers had conquered the Flame Beast's territory, leaving countless casualties.

The Beast King and Red Fur were nowhere to be found. The king had probably abandoned the tribe to preserve its power and left with the selected mice.

"It really did abandon its own tribe," commented Speedy with a sigh.

Squeaky remained silent on this matter.

It didn't come forward when its tribe was in distress. So, it wasn't about to kick them when they were down.

It always held onto the principle of returning one favor with three. If someone treated it like family, it would protect them no matter the cost.

Alas, none of the mice had considered it one of their own. To make matters even more laughable, even its biological father treated it as nothing but a baby-making tool.

Well, that was just how life was. It had its young master as its family. That was good enough for it.

Lilly looked around and noticed that the Stingers had also retreated. There were only some lingering spirits scattered across the warzone. Nonetheless, most of the Flame Beast's lingering spirits had clearly been dragged away by the Stingers as spoils of war.

Although the Stingers lost their king, they emerged victorious in this battle.

"Let's go. We need to find food elsewhere." Lilly didn't know what lay beyond the Flame Beast tribe or where the Stingers lived. Nevertheless, she had no intention of hunting them at the moment.

One, she had been eating seafood for a few days and had gotten rather tired of it. Two, she needed to venture out of her comfort zone and become stronger.

Lilly marked her surroundings so she could teleport back at any time. Then, she walked resolutely outside the valley with the small ghost beast and Speedy accompanying her.

Suddenly, a looming darkness enveloped her just as she left the valley. It took her a matter of seconds to realize that she was under a massive shadow.

A gigantic eyeball abruptly approached them from the top of the mountain! "Squeak!" The small ghost beast's fur stood on end. "It's an ancient giant!" Lilly was utterly shocked. The unfolding scene in front of her resembled a scene from Attack on Titan, leaving her feeling as if she were trapped in the midst of it. If she had been any less brave, there was a strong possibility that she would have succumbed to sheer terror and perished.

Despite her swift attempt to dodge and find cover, the colossal creature had already extended its hand and forcefully seized her!
