Chapter 1799
After Alexander left, Dominic played with Galen for a while before the little boy started to feel sleepy.
Dominic brought Galen into the room and watched the child sleep with a faint sigh.
Dominic had always known that Lily was talented and intelligent from the beginning. He had imparted
all his knowledge to her without reservation because of that. However, she was now in danger because
of how much she knew.
Dominic wondered whether or not what he did was right.
After tucking Galen in, he turned to leave, only to find a servant at the door. "Sir, Young Master Austin
asked if it's done."
"What does he mean if it’s done?" Dominic frowned. Before the servant could answer, he immediately

With that, he ran downstairs and headed straight to the backyard. Austin was still lying shirtless with
silver needles stuck in his back.
Although his body was getting cold, he dared not get up.
'What's taking Uncle Dom so long? Did he forget about me? That can’t be. He’s halfway through with
his acupuncture. But it’s just Lily, so what are they talking about that takes so long?’
After thinking about it, Austin fell asleep without knowing. When he woke up, he saw that no one was
around. He started to feel that something was wrong and yelled for a servant to check. Austin never
expected his granduncle to forget about him completely.
Guilt flashed across Dominic's face when he saw Austin. Still, he stubbornly refused to admit it as he
coughed lightly before grumbling,"
What’s the hurry? Are you in a rush? I’m trying to test you! I want to see how long your body can stay
like this!
"It seems like your recovery is going well, and the poison in your body is almost gone. You’ve stayed
still for a long time and haven't had a seizure."
Austin silently listened on. The serious look on Dominic's face was starting to make Austin doubt
whether or not Dominic was covering up his mistake.
"Then, can I get up now?" Austin asked, slowly getting up.
"Wait!” Dominic quickly held him down. "We're not done yet!"
"Huh?!"
Dominic pressed him down and continued his acupuncture solemnly.
Although they were not done yet, they were just a few steps away. Now, all Dominic had to do was put

Austin lay there obediently while Dominic sat with his legs crossed, flipping through the traditional
medical books.
Recently, he dug out a lot of old things to try and find a solution to these viruses. He looked through
them earnestly while Austin lay on the side, bored.
He had already taken a nap and could not sleep anymore. Only the two remained in the room, so he
had no one else to talk to.
Austin smacked his lips and could not help but ask, "Uncle Dom, haven’t you read all these books
before? Why are you rereading them?”
"One can never stop learning," Dominic replied without lifting his eyes.
After a pause, Austin asked again, "You aren't trying to find a way to stop this virus from these ancient
books, are you?"
The older man pulled his reading glasses down and frowned at Austin. "So what if I am?"
