Lily was silent for a moment. Noah was right. She could not care less about other things, but the top–

his feet when he heard that she was again rejecting his invitation.

“Perhaps,” Lily said but showed no signs of hesitation on her face. “Not now, though.”

Noah did not expect that things would end in such an ugly manner. He came into the place. confidently,

never imagining he would be rejected. He had not considered how he would go. about things should

she refuse him.

That was because he had never thought that she would reject his invitation. He was even ready. to

watch her cry joyfully, expressing her gratitude for him. This was completely different from what he had
