Chapter 645 “Which is where exactly?” Lily was surprised when the car stopped at an abandoned

amusement park. ‘Did he bring me here for fun and leisure?’

However, she was not in the mood for this at the moment. “Let‘s watch a play.” Alexander mysteriously

told her these words and took her hand to lead her toward a giant Ferris wheel.

Lily was dumbfounded.

Edward also got out of the car but did not follow them. Instead, he went in a different direction.

It should have been an amusement park in the past, but due to the abandonment of the construction, it

remained half–built with scaffoldings and other incomplete structures. Although most of the facilities

Lily wondered what Alexander‘s plan was. He brought her here during such hours and even said they

were here to watch a play. She stood on the viewing platform and realized how far she could see.

Her range of sight allowed her to see places far away. In addition, only a few obstructions were in her

line of sight, apart from some half–built facilities.

However, this place was deserted and without people around. Lily looked around but did not see a soul

or an animal. Alexander said they were here to watch a play, but what play was there to watch in such

a deserted place?

“You need to have the patience to watch the play,” Alexander answered Lily as if he could read her

mind. He sat on the viewing platform bench and asked her to sit too, “It should start in a moment. It

looks like we arrived early, but that‘s okay. We can enjoy the scenery here.”

Alexander looked around before opening the zip on a bag he had brought. He removed a thermos and

a lunch box from it. Then he opened them and revealed the fragrant coffee in the thermos and a red

velvet cake in the lunch box.

Lily looked at the two things in amazement. ‘When did he prepare all these?‘ She knew he had carried

the bag when he got out of the car and thought it was important.

“Since we‘re watching a play, snacks and drinks are necessary. This is just right.” Alexander picked up

a cup and poured her some coffee.

Lily was speechless and confused as she did not know what he had planned. She reached out to

receive the cup.

“You‘ll find out in a moment.” He said.

Lily heard an unusual noise when they drank half of the coffee and ate a slice of cake each. The sound

differed from the previous wind blowing through the abandoned amusement park’s facilities. It was the

sound of a car’s engine from far away.

She stood up and looked into the distance. Sure enough, she saw a car approaching the park. The car

was quite a distance away and stopped at an open area. However, no one got out of the car. Lily could

see the car clearly as there were no obstructions in her line of sight. At the same time, the person in the

car could see his surroundings. “Is this the play you‘re talking about?” She looked back and asked

Alexander. Alexander shook his head and smiled, “Nope. Be patient.” Lily patiently continued to wait.

The person in the car did not get down from the car and did not drive away. It looked like the person

was waiting for something. Sure enough, another car came after half an hour.

The other car stopped near the previous car. A person got out of the first car. However, it was too far

away, and it was impossible to see who the person was from Lily and Alexander‘s angle. Lily could not

even identify if the person was a man or a woman.
