Chapter 911
"It's not that easy for a renowned society to dissolve," Lily said as she slowly tended to the flowers. "Do you believe the society has come this
far only to be dissolved like that? It wasn't established for anyone in particular, and it won't dissolve for anyone. I'm not that powerful."
She merely served as a fire starter. The Perfumers' Society was entirely self -made.
It was inevitable that subordinates would take on the bad habits of their superiors. However, if not for Lawrence's egotism, Noah's desire to
impress his family, and the association's desire to move forward while forgetting its original goals, everything would not have fallen apart with
the slightest nudge.
Although it appeared that Lily was solely responsible for this, this wasn't the case.
"Then... with so much chaos around it, what would the next move be?"
"Sit back and relax. How many people are sincere and how many have unkind intentions amid such chaos?" Lily trimmed off the extra
branches before turning her head and smiling softly. "Think about it. If I did take up this position, I'd have so many responsibilities on my

Lily had been so focused on creating perfumes that she had no experience in management, so she did not think she was competent enough
to take on that role. People who clamored for her to be president either had ulterior motives or were simply blinded by their admiration for
her.
It was only once things quieted down that they would be able to sort out their thoughts. Although few
were as good as Lily at making perfumes, many people were much better at running a whole society
than she was.
"Regardless, I'll never join the Perfumers' Society," she said lightly.
"Madam, there is someone at the gate."
Since her relationship with Alexander became public, and the two were preoccupied with wedding
preparations, they had hired domestic help around the house. After all, with the two of them always at
home, it would be helpful for someone else to cater to the housework from time to time.
The maids would address Lily as "Madam."
Frowning, she replied, "Didn't I say no visitors were allowed?"
Not only had there been a lot of calls recently, but people were also showing up at their house. Lily
would simply send them all away.
"It's just that..." After a moment of hesitation, the maid whispered, "She said that she's Mr. Russell's
aunt."
"His aunt?"
The only person that came to mind was the woman she saw in the store when they were shopping for a
diamond ring.
Could it be Celine?
"Is she alone?" Lily asked after some thought.
The maid nodded. "Yes, but it looks like she brought some gifts. Maybe she's here to congratulate you

The whole house had been in a jovial mood. Alexander had even decorated the house to match the festive spirit, but Lily thought it was a
little much. The maids knew that they were about to host a wedding, so they immediately assumed that anyone who came to their house was
there to congratulate the newlywed couple.
However, Lily begged to differ.
After what happened last time, she knew that Alexander did not have a good relationship with his family. Although she did not ask in detail,
she knew he had his reasons for not elaborating further.
Lily was unsure whether Alexander was aware of Celine's sudden appearance. After thinking about it, she decided to call him.
The phone was quickly answered on the other end by Alexander's low, silky voice. "What's wrong? Do you miss me?"
Rolling her eyes, she got straight to the point. "Oh, please. I wanted to ask you if you're aware that your aunt is here.”
"My aunt?" He sounded surprised. Did she see you?"
"No," Lily answered, "She's outside the gate. I wanted to check with you first."
