“Twas waiting for you,” Millie said in a low voice, standing to her feet.

Marcus knitted his eyebrows in surprise. He stepped closer to her and held her hand in his, squeezing it slightly.

“Really?”

Millie nodded. “I thought you would be angry. You helpedexpose Fiona, yet I didn’t thank you before coming to Preagend University.”
