Chapter 138
“Let go of me! Don’t you dare touch me! Lana cried out in despair, her h oar se voice cracking.
Her makeup was long ruined by the tears that streaked across her face.
Her pink hoodie was torn in the struggle, exposing her bare shoulders.
The bald man heard the commotion and turned around.
Seeing his underlings lying in a heap on the ground, he was both surprised and furious.
“Who the f uck are you? He released Lana and grabbed a mop that was leaning against the wall,
swinging it forcefully toward Kevan.” Da mn it how dare you ruin my mood!”
Kevan stopped his attack without hesitation by grabbing the mop handle with his bare hands. The bald
man was caught off guard. Seizing the opportunity, he cave the mop a strong tug, causing the bald
man to lose his fooling and fall forward.
Just as the bald man was about to crash into him, Kevan sidestepped out of the way and kicked him
behind the knees.

While the fight was going on, Larissa cautiously maneuvered through the drunken crowd, trying to
avoid eye contact with anyone to stay out of trouble.
Getting into Dylan’s car, she followed Kevan’s instructions and locked the car doors.
She had called the police as soon as she left the bar. Now all she had to do was patiently wail in the
car for the police to arrive.
Larissa gripped her phone tightly, waiting for Kevan’s call while anxiously looking out the window.
Overwhelmed with anxiety and worry, Larissa felt as though her heart had risen to her throat,
suffocating her with its presence.
Aber about ten minutes, the sound of loud sirens drew closer and closer. The fashing red and blue
police lights stood out against the dark sky.
Larissa was so relieved that tears threatened to spill from her eyes. She hastily opened the door and
stepped out, frantically waving to the police. “I called the police! Please come here quicky!”
When Larissa arrived back at Quinn Bar accompanied by the police, a crowd had already ama ssed in
the lobby on the first floor. More people were running down from upstairs.
The police stopped someone and asked. “What happened here?”
*There’s an interse fight going on in the second-llcor restroom Many people have been injured! Officer,
please hurry up and go take a look” the man exclaimed,
The police officers quickened their pace and rushed upstairs.
The background music at the bar had stopped, and everyone was rushing downstairs.
Larissa and the police officers had to go against the crowd. With much difficulty, they squeezed through
the frenzied crowd, pushing their way through to the women’s restroom.
“Why are you so slow? Dylan complained with a frown. “We’ve already settled everything.”
The group of young men Larissa had seen just now were unconscious. They were all pied up and
stacked on top of each other. Dylan was sitting cross-legged on top of the heap, staring down at them.
Larissa was stunned by what she saw.

She had thought that Dylan and Kevan would surely be at a disadvantage against so many of them.
“What about Mr. Rogers and Lana?” she asked Dylan,
Dylan pointed behind him. “They’re inside the restroom.” He stood up and said to the police, “You
should call these thugs first.”
The police officers finally snapped out of their daze. They look out their handculls and restrained the
unconscious thugs one by one.
“There’s one more inside,” Dylan informed them nonchalantly.
Two men were still entangled in a fight inside the womer’s restroom.
Kevan had the bald man pinned to the ground punching him square in the face with every strike.
The bald man’s face was bruised and swollen, his nose bleeding profusely.
The police quickly rushed forward and separated them,
“Police! Don’t move!”
Kevan stopped assaulting the bald man and stood up. Ciscreetly, he pulled down his shirt sleeves so
that they covered his wrists.
Concerned for Kevan, Larissa walked up to him. At that moment, Lana emerged from one of the stalls.
Her disheveled hair and tattered clothes were evidence that she had been harassed and violated.
