Larissa was struck speechless by his questions,

Seeing that she had relented, Kevan’s smile became a little obvious.

“It’s simple,” he said. “Pretend that you’re my girlfriend.”

“What?!” This was even more shocking than the 1.5 million dollars earlier. “Why?” She really could not

understand.

A man like Kevan could have any woman he liked. If he wanted, he could have a real girlfriend as well!

Why would he need her to pretend? It was so unnecessary.

Kevan tugged on his tie, his face contorted with disgust.

“Too many women are trying to sleep with me. It’s annoying,” he said. “You’re the only woman I know

who isn’t interested in me. So, I hope to fend off the annoying ones with your help.”

Larissa had witnessed the terrible state he was in after Karin had drugged him, so she knew he was

not lying.
