Chapter 924
With Edmund behind bars, Larissa finally was able to put the matter to rest
However, what troubled her the most was Blue Star’s crisis.
One by one, their long–time clients were being poached by Moorewell Shipping.
So, their top priority was to acquire new clients to ensure the stability of the company’s revenue.
Indeed, they had a dedicated department for attracting small and medium–sized clients.
However, dealing with larger clients usually relied on the company’s top executives and their connections.
Gary had plans to shift the business locus to Caldor. This meant establishing closer lies and collaborations with
major companies there.
However, he didn’t have the same level of access in Caldor as he did in Westonia Caldor had numerous large
shipping companies. They had no incentive to work exclusively with him.
Considering the current situation in Caldor, Lewis didn’t dare to allow Gary to travel there in person.
After some discussions, a decision was reached.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtLewis would accompany Larissa on a trip to Caldor.
Lewis could be considered Blue Star’s second–in–command.
Larissa was Blue Star’s princess.
Their joint presence would convey respect and credibility to potential clients.
Larissa returned home.
She informed Kevan about the upcoming business trip to Caldor.
Immediately, he grabbed a suitcase and started packing his bags.
“My parents also want me to go home,” he stated matter–of–factly.
“What about Aster if we all leave?” she asked with concern.
If it weren’t for Wendy’s situation, she would have no hesitation about leaving Aster behind.
But now, Wendy was unable to care for herself; leaving Aster with her would be an absolute disaster.
She didn’t even need to consider Gary.
She dreaded the thought of coming back in a few days to find Aster had been turned into a spoiled brat by Gary.
Kevan didn’t give her a direct answer.
Instead, he called Aster into the room and consulted with him very seriously.
“Daddy and Mommy need to go to Caldor for a few days. Would you like to stay with Godma or Grandpa, or would
you like to come with us?
After careful consideration, Aster replied just as seriously, “I want to go with you guys.”
“Why?” Kevan asked.
“Godma hasn’t recovered yet. I will be a burden to her. As for Grandpa…” He glanced at Larissa before continuing.
“Mommy doesn’t like
me going there.”
Kevan nodded in acceptance.
“Alright, go pack your things now. We’ll leave tomorrow moming.”

From a distance, they could still hear Aster excitedly boasting to Wendy.
“Godma! I’m going to Caldor with Mommy and Daddy tomorrow! You have to take care of yourself at home,
alright?”
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmLarissa had refrained from expressing her displeasure when Aster was present.
Now that Aster had left, she wore a stem expression.
She questioned Kevan, “Why did you agree to take him with us? The situation back home isn’t clear yet. What if he
gets infected?”
“Don’t worry, Bartham is quite safe right now. We take necessary precautions while traveling. It’s not as scary as
you think,” he replied confidently.
“But when we’re back there, I be meeting clients with Lewis. You also have your own matters to attend to. Are you
planning to leave Aster alone in the hotel? She still fell uneasy.
“What do you mean ‘leaving Aster alone in the hotel?” He raised his eyebrows. He was puzzled by her question.
“We can send him to my parents‘ house. I think they’d be thrilled to see him.”
She remembered something after hearing him mention his parents. “By the way, have you told your parents about
Aster being your son?”
“Not yet.” Kevan hesitated for a moment before adding. “They think I have amnesia.”
Naturally, it was impossible for him to remember Aster was his son given his amnesia.
She smirked coldly. “I’d like to see how you’ll explain it to your parents in the future.”
