Chapter 991
“Of course I’ll fucking blame you! Who else can I blame?”
Il Gary had been holding something, he would have thrown it at Kevan a long time ago.
This fucking son of a bitch!
Piece of sh !!
He fucking stole his precious daughter away from him without saying a damned thing!
Although Gary knew that this was bound to happen sooner or later, they really did not respect him by having an
affair right under his nose!
Lewis hurriedly tried to soothe Gary again. “Calm down. Uncle. Be calm.”
Gary took several deep breaths before he managed to calm himself down, “You’ve dealt with all that bullshit with
your family?” he asked.
The main reason he prevented Larissa from being together with Kevan was because he let that the Rogers family

He did not want Larissa to get involved with all the stupid power struggles of the wealthy familles.
Gary had already heard of Soaring Corporation’s bankruptcy and Cody’s arrest resulting in his death from various
media, but he could not be sure if the remaining fuckers of the Rogers family would cause any more trouble.
“All done,” Kevan said. “If I hadn’t dealt with it I would not have come to see you.”
Gary huffed coldly. It could be considered his satisfaction with Kevan’s answer.
“Lari isn’t holding you accountable for all the terrible things that you did before?” Gary asked again.
He seemed to want to dig into Kevan’s “dark past“, which made Kevan feel rather awkward.
Even to Kevan himself, the things he did before were definitely too much.
He could not use “there was a reason” as a way to explain it all away.
“I will not make those mistakes again, and I will treat Lari so much better than before to make up for everything
wrong that I did.”
Gary did not question Kevan’s words.
Truthfully, Gary had noticed everything that Kevan had done for so long, including the way Larissa changed her
attitude toward Kevan.
Gary knew everything.
Since Larissa did not mind Kevan’s past anymore, Gary had no reason to keep holding on to this as the parent.
He just needed to humble the guy a little.
He could still trust Kevan’s character.
“Last question.” Gary put away all his dramatics and asked seriously. “Can you promise that you’ll treat Aster as
your own son? Even though you and Lari will have other children, you must not treat him unfairly!”
This question was easy to answer.
“Of course. The truth is–Kevan sucked in a deep breath. “Aster is my child.”
“Don’t throw lies at me!” Gary did not get what Kevan was saying.
“No, I mean-” Kevan changed the way he said it. “Aster is my son–my biological son. I made Lari get pregnant with
him before she came

“What?” Gary was so shocked that he love.
Lewis also looked disbelievingly at Kevan.
Larissa had hidden the truth from them, and now this truth shook them both badly to the core.

“You actually did such a monstrous thing! Lari was pregnant with your chlid, and you still divorced her! You made
her come to Westonia alone! Do you have any idea how much she suffered then?”
Kevan did not move and silently bore the weight of Gary’s rage.
This was the punishment he should have had–even he wished he could slap himsell hard when he thought of the
pain Larissa had suffered.
“Uncle, that’s enough.” Lewis was scared that if he did not stop Gary, someone might die today. He hurriedly pulled
Gary away from Kevan. “I believe Mr. Rogers regrets this deeply too.”
Kevan pressed his lips tightly together. He did not say a thing.
Gary sat back on the couch again. He was still glaring at Kevan while his chest heaved, showing that he was having
trouble calming down.
