After making sure that my suit looks good on me, | walk out of the bathroom, not wanting to keep Rosie waiting

for long. I'm glad that she is enjoying her time. | know that she is not exactly fond of attending huge events, but |

want her to get out of her shell. | want her to try new things.

We have already talked about that before when she toldthat she wanted to becbolder. We agreed that |

was going to take her to more events to make her used to being in huge crowds and if she ever felt

uncomfortable, | would take her himmediately. It's not "Silas," a girl says, makingstop in my track and

"Izzy, it's good to see you," | politely say. Truth is, it's not good to see her at all. Izzy doesn't take no for an

answer and | don't know how to make her understand that I'm not interested in dating her.

"I heard srumors," she says, walking towards me. | want to walk away from her, but I'm also trying not to be

rude. "Is it true that you're now dating sgirl?" She closes the space between us and my back is pressed

"Rosie? Is she from our circle? | don't think | know a Rosie who can be good enough for you." She dares to let her

aggressive.

"She is more than enough for me. In fact, she is way out of my league and I'm thankful that she is mine." | hope

she now understands that Rosie is the only girl | want, but | think that she doesn't get the memo, because she

refuses to keep her hand away from my body. "I bet he made it clear more than once that he's not single, and

I'm assuming you're not deaf, so why the hell are you all over my boyfriend?" | look up and see Rosie in front of

me, she looks outraged, and she has every right to be.

"lI wasn't aware that he's serious," Izzy rolls her eyes as she looks at Rosie in a not-so-nice way.

"He is," my jealous girlfriend walks over to us, pushes Izzy away and presses her body against mine, "very

serious." My girl places her hand on the back of my neck and gently pushes it down. | obey and lean down. Her

lips meet mine and for a second, she catchesoff the way she usually kisses me. Her kiss is usually sweet,

and she shyly initiates the kiss, but this one is way different. It is daring. She's claiming her territory. She wants

to make it clear that | belong to nobody else but her.

"| believe this shows you how series he is, right?" Rosie turns around, pressing her back against mine. | wrap my

arm around her waist and watch the way Izzy's face falls. Rosie has made it clear that she's not going to go easy

on anyone who comes near me. | like this sid "Right." Izzy's lips tighten into a straight line before walking away.

| turn my gorgeous girl to faceand kiss her like there's no tomorrow. | don't care that we're surrounded by

many people. She is my girl and I'm proud to be hers. | want everyone to

know that my eyes see nobody else but her. I'm aware that people may be taking pictures of us, but what's so

wrong about that? I'm simply a man who is kissing his girl. I'm a man who is madly in love and cannot wait till he

tells his girl that.

"Jealous, baby girl?" | smirk as | place my hands on her waist, keeping her body glued to mine..

"Just making sure that everybody knows you're mine," she murmurs. "Don't | have the right to do that?"

"Oh Rosie, you've every single right to do that. Remind everyone every once in a while that I'm yours, Remind

and | want to scream it on top of my lungs. | want the world to know that she is all that my eyes could ever see.

"How could she do that?! I'm sure you've told her that we're dating, so | can't grasp her actions," she furiously

exclaims. | want to laugh at how adorable she looks.

"I promise | told her, cupcake, but she wouldn't budge." | caress her soft skin.

"I know, Silas! | blindly trust you, but I just don't understand the audacity of speople! You told her you're

taken, so she should respect that!" I cup her chin between my fingers and lean down to kiss her soft lips. "Don't

think about her, Rosie. Don't let her ruin our night, gorgeous." She nods. | snake my arm around her shoulders

and kiss her temple as we make our way back to the table.

We're an hour away from the new year. | can't wait to spend the next year with her. | have a lot of plans for her. |

want to make her the happiest girl. | want to take her to nice places and travel around the world with her. | want

us to make unforgettable memories. | want to st "Hey, Silas." | look at her when she calls my name. "We're five

she excitedly says. | look up and she's right. There are a lot of stars in the sky and the moon is bright.

"Your wish is my command, beautiful," | tell her. She looks flawless tonight. Absolutely flawless. I'm the luckiest

man alive to call her mine.

When the clock ticks and the new year arrives, | pull her towardsand kiss her, giving her the kiss she wants. |
