Turns out the guys weren't doing much.

Jake had lit the fire pit out back and they were all sat round the decking drinking beer and talking. I grabbed a slice of pizza before sitting down beside him. He wrapped his arm around my waist before kissing the side of my head. "Yeah". I smiled. "Are you?".

"You okay baby?".

"What do you want for graduation?". He asked.

I took a bite of my pizza. I didn't want anything. I didn't need anything, and he certainly didn't need to buya gift. Although I wouldn't mind a weekend at the cabin.

"You don't need to buyanything". I frowned.

"I don't have to, but I want to".

He looked around before his eyes landed back on mine. "Who cares". He smirked before leadingthrough the house and up the stairs. They didn't even bat an eyelid but I'm sure they noticed we had disappeared.

Reaching our room, he made sure to lock it once we were inside. With my hand still in his he pulledto him. "I'm really fucking proud of you, and I hope you know how much I love and appreciate you". "I love you too". I smiled.
