174 You said I should take you home..... this is home.

“You are even beating people on an impulse now. If uncle finds out we will be both be grounded for weeks,” said Yi Feng handing Yi Chen a glass of ice water with mint.

Yi Chen received it without uttering a single word. He wasn’t in the mood to talk thus he kept his mouth shut.

Half a minute later Crvena came back with a considerably calm-faced Evan. No one knew what Crvena said to Evan but whatever it was it worked because he could calmly sit across Yi Chen.

His gaze glanced over in Zi Han’s direction and his cheeks suddenly flushed as he lowered his gaze. When Yi Chen noticed that familiar look in Evan’s eyes he gnashed his teeth while clenching his fist. A dark cloud was looming over him dropping the temperature in the room to an all-time low.

Zi Han had absolutely no idea why Yi Chen was losing his shit again. He just casually placed his hand on Yi Chen’s lower back and gently caressed it in a soothing motion. This calmed the brewing storm within him considerably.

“So how do we solve this?” asked Yi Feng taking charge knowing fully well that if his cousin opens his mouth right now a fight would break out.

Hela looked at Crvena and replied, “It’s just a stupid game. You should let it go.”

Crvena laughed out loud before saying, “Oh now because the class president is involved we should let it go? My boy was beaten like this... look at his face, its swollen.”

“So what do you suggest?” asked Li Ran slightly displeased by Crvena’s attitude towards Hela.

.....

“Why of course he should keep up the end of his deal or he drinks,” he said while looking at Zi Han.

Zi Han’s body shivered involuntarily as his gaze fell on those shot glasses. AAAAHHHHH, he would rather die. Honestly, if it weren’t for Yi Chen sitting next to him he would have just pulled Evan’s collar and kissed him so as to bring an end to this.

While he was sitting there with a distraught expression, Yi Chen grabbed a shot glass and with a slight tilt of his head, he drank it all in one go.

Before Zi Han could react Yi Chen was already on his second shot drinking it like a champ. The group became a little noisy with Crvena wanting to stop him from drinking but Hela said there was no rule against it.

By the time Yi Chen reached for the fourth glass Zi Han took the last one and drank it at the same time as he did. Zi Han felt bad and didn’t want Yi Chen to take the punishment on his behalf but he couldn’t stop him in time.

Zi Han only had one shot but his eyes were tearing up and his tongue so bitter that he couldn’t help but grab the iced water Yi Chen had been drinking before. But it didn’t help much.

Yi Chen took out some butterscotch candy and gave it to him. Zi Han took it and sucked on it. It was only then his expression relaxed. This liquor was simply created to torture people like him who couldn’t stand bitter things.

With the fuss over everyone didn’t feel like playing anymore. The party in the background was still going on as though the fight from earlier didn’t affect them.

Those two shots that Zi Han had tonight were the gateway to a whole new world he had never experienced before. For the first time in his life, he let himself go and drank to his heart’s content.

As for Yi Chen, he sat by Zi Han’s side watching him the entire time. The more he drank the quieter he became. His sense of existence was basically nonexistent that is to everyone else but to Zi Han, he was like an entire mountain with beautiful green forestry making it difficult for one to ignore.

While chatting it up with others he would inadvertently glance over and either smile or touch Yi Chen as though to include him.

But Yi Chen didn’t care about being included. He was happy just leisurely sitting there while watching Zi Han. After drinking so much Zi Han felt like he would pass out at any moment thus he leaned closer to Yi Chen and whispered in his ear, ” I want to go home. I am tired.”

Yi Chen knew that Zi Han was doing this because the music was so loud but he couldn’t help but lick his lower lip his gaze lingering on Zi Han’s moist lips for a while. He slowly nodded his head and got up before reaching out his hand toward Zi Han.

Zi Han knew he wouldn’t be able to walk without support so he obediently stretched out his hand and his fingers slipped into Yi Chen’s palm fitting well like a glove.

Yi Chen helped him up and as the two drunk people made to leave Yi Feng stopped them saying, “Let me take you guys home.”

Yi Feng was not being a good samaritan. In fact, he was running away from Kiet who had been eyeing his ass like a lion eyeing a fat juicy buffalo through the tall grass.

His chrysanthemum was clenched the entire time nervous about what was yet to come thus to save himself he decided to offer to send his cousin.

Unfortunately for him, with the self-driving function in hovercars activated there wasn’t even any need for a driver. Kiet deliberately let him think his plan had succeeded by not saying anything until Yi Feng was about to get inside the hovercar.

Kiet grabbed his shoulder and pulled him back while asking, “Where do you think you are going?”

Yi Feng, “.....”

“My car is over there. Let’s go,” he said while leading the reluctant Yi Feng to the hovercar. He wanted to ask his cousin for help but Yi Chen’s gaze was stuck on Zi Han the entire time.

The two of them were still holding hands. That’s because Zi Han was so wasted that he felt like if he let go of Yi Chen’s hand the dizziness from before would return and everything will begin to spin again.

As for Yi Chen, he didn’t care for the reason. He was just happy he got to hold Zi Han’s hand thus he kept smiling like a fool with a smitten look on his face. The pair held hands until the hovercar stopped.

Thinking he was home Zi Han got up and said, “Goodnight Chen-ge.... I had so much fun,” while waving at him with a sluggish smile.

But when he stepped down and found out that this wasn’t his grandfather’s place his steps paused with a look of confusion. He turned his gaze to Yi Chen and parted his lips about to ask when Yi Chen said,

“You said I should take you home..... This is home.”

Zi Han, “.....”

Okay, this man was definitely wasted. He looked fine, talked fine and walked fine but he was most definitely drunk.
