490 I will sneak you back in. She won’t see you.
Yeoh Jun lay down next to his son their mech facing the bright blue sky. “Should we go and help them on Loch Ness star?” he asked and Zi Han sighed deeply letting all the stress out of his body.
“No. They can handle it. They can deploy the entire army so... yep,” said Zi Han feeling a little drowsy.
“Don’t you want to go and see what’s his name again?” asked Yeoh Jun and Zi Han turned his head slightly while saying,
“You just want to go to see mum, don’t you?”
“Yes, I really do. The earlier you start coaxing the better,” he said with a hint of urgency. His heart couldn’t be settled unless he saw his wife and explain things.
“How about you get a haircut first and maybe take a shower? I can smell you from all the way here,” replied Zi Han with a sly quirk at the corner of his lips.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt“Really,” replied Yeoh Jun as he raised his arm to smell himself, “I don’t think it’s that bad. I smell like heavy medicine and just a small dash of sweat.”
Zi Han couldn’t help but press his lips together suppressing his laughter. Who knew messing with his father was so much fun?
“Let’s go. We will go in the Han warship directly and meet her,” he said but it seemed like Yeoh Jun had a change of heart.
.....
He looked at his reflection on the floating screen and suddenly felt like he could pass as a homeless guy. There was no way he was going to meet his wife like this.
“Nope, I take it back. Let’s go to the nearest planet and get father and son haircuts. Maybe matching tattoos too,” said Yeoh Jun already going through his list of things to do with his daughter before he dies. Well, now he had to cross out daughter to son. Oh, he knew he was getting a son but he was going to pretend he had a daughter for a couple of years.
“With your kind of face, you will terrify everyone. They will think that they have just seen a ghost. Let’s go on the Han,” he said and Igneous’ limbs lay sprawled on the ground seeming dejected.
“I will sneak you back in. She won’t see you. Then I can plan a romantic dinner for the two of you and you guys can make another baby,” he said as he got up from the ground.
“Yes to everything else and nope to another baby. I saw a birth video and I am not putting your mother through that again... She even did it alone the first time. I can’t even begin to fathom what she went through pushing your big head out.”
“Hey, my head is perfectly normal sized,” complained Zi Han while his mech walked through the grasslands.
Yeoh Jun followed behind absentmindedly. That’s because his mind was wandering. He didn’t know what he was going to say to her when they meet. Should he buy her flowers and a bottle of wine? Or maybe buy her a rare gemstone.
While the pair of father and son were finding their way back to the warship, Yi Chen was sitting in the medical bay getting examined.
His expression showed some impatience. That’s because his mind was only on one person and that person was Zi Han. Yi Zhen couldn’t help but facepalm looking at his son who seemed lovesick.
“Just relax and it won’t take time,” he said before the door of the medical bay slid open. A man one head shorter than Yi Chen entered and behind was none other than Yi Feng.
Yi Zhen turned to the door and saw his nephew behind doctor Kiet.
“What are you doing here?” asked Yi Zhen pressing his temples a little irritable. He didn’t think his nephew would tag along.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm“He goes where I go,” said doctor Kiet while draping his shoulders around his boyfriend as though protecting him from relatives.
“Just go take a look at him,” said Yi Zhen wondering how he got the disciple instead of the master. He had invited doctor Goodman to the Cetus but the old man said that his disciple Kiet was already at a level higher than him thus he let him take his place on the Cetus. Yi Zhen knew that this man was his nephew’s boyfriend. That’s because his sister called him complaining about our cunning her in law was. She complained that her idiot son just gave away his heart with ease so yes he knew a lot about this person.
He wanted to help her with the situation but his son was also infatuated with a fox so he had no time to deal with it.
He couldn’t refuse doctor Kiet because even he knew that there was no one as good as him apart from the man’s master. Because he knew that his son might be in a terrible condition when he comes back he decided to have the best on board but who would have thought there would be a stowaway?
“Cousin,” yelled Yi Feng rushing over to Yi Chen but before he could even touch him Yi Chen moved his hand away.
“Who are you?” he asked genuinely only for Yi Feng to show a sad expression like he had been wronged.
“That’s your cousin,” said Yi Zhen before his light brain vibrated again. He had already told his wife that their son was okay but the woman wanted to speak to him.
He took a step and the medical bay doors opened. As he exited he turned to doctor Kiet and said, “He seems to have forgotten almost everything. You check him for me please.”
When he stepped out he answered the call and the sound of his wife’s brittle voice screamed into his ear.
“Where is he? I want to talk to him. I want to talk to my baby,” she said while clutching her dress tightly.
“Baby I already told you that he doesn’t remember anyone. He doesn’t even remember any of us. You can only talk to him after he gets better otherwise it will only make you sad,” he said in a whisper trying to coax her but when he heard his kids’ voices in the background he knew that wasn’t possible. These two would pester and pester until they wore him out.
