599 “Blue is your colour babes,”
“Come on, you will look good. It’s also blue and has a lovely pattern. Blue is your colour babes,” she said following him around.
Zi Han was well aware of this little trick. When the word ‘babes’ came out of her there must be something big going down. The first time he asked her to dress up in a tutu skirt she used that word. First time trying extremely spicy chips, that word. First time trying on lip gloss, that word. Just know that when Zi Xingxi called him ‘babes’ she wanted something he would normally say no to.
Zi Han shook his head no but who was his mother? She wouldn’t let that slide. Zi Han took off his slippers and leapt on the bed before running towards the door.
“Pa!” he yelled while running down to his mother’s bedroom. He could hear the chaos downstairs but ignored it while running across the passageway.
His distant aunt that loved giving people horrible haircuts, was wearing an overly exaggerated hat while asking, “What’s going on up there?”
Zi Feiji glanced up and said, “She is trying to distract him... I think.”
She gasped loudly her hand on her chest while asking, “Is he having cold feet? Don’t worry cousin, I already have the perfect escape plan and they would never find him. Just say the word and I will take him away... although you have to bear the cost. I am short of money so....”
“You just want to borrow some money don’t you?” he said and she nodded her head.

.....
“What for?” he asked and she enthusiastically showed this hovercar she had been eyeing.
“Look at it. Isn’t it beautiful?” she asked but instead of being a good cousin Zi Feiji turned snippy instead.
“You should stop buying stupid hats and save some money,” he said before walking back to the kitchen.
Meanwhile, Zi Han, a grown man about to get married, was crawling into his parents’ bed running away from his mother. His dad who somehow was left to sleep to his heart’s content while he had to wake up early was suddenly woken up and boy was he grumpy.
“Ugh... Han Han,” he murmured while clutching the quilt moving away from him but Zi Han didn’t get the hint.
He crawled over sticking to him like toffee. “Hey!... Come here. Zi Han! You are ruining your hair,” shouted Zi Xingxi while jumping on the bed to get him.
“Oh god,” said Yeoh Jun while rubbing his temples.
“If I can’t sleep then you can’t sleep either,” said Zi Han ready to mess with his father to his heart’s content.
The two people were scuffling on the bed like two raccoons fighting over food in the dumpster while Yeoh Jun was doing the dad sigh while trying to get some more sleep.
The door suddenly opened while Zi Xingxi was struggling to tie Zi Han’s hair in a satin silk scarf. Zi Feiji just rolled his eyes which was unlike him.
“The hangover soup is ready,” he said only for Yeoh Jun to finally open his eyes and say,
“Thank you so much. How did you know I needed some?”
Zi Feiji glowered at him while asking, “Who said it was for you? It’s for the groom only.”
Yeoh Jun, “...”
“I know you don’t like me much old man but this is favouritism,” he said looking quite pitiful. Zi Feiji placed the tray on the dresser before saying,
“Ask me who asked me to make it. It’s your wife who didn’t think about you.”
Yeoh Jun turned to his wife who had accomplished the task and asked, “Really?”
Zi Xingxi who blamed him for their son getting so wasted last night didn’t feel bad at all. She smacked Zi Han’s hand that was trying to untie the knot while responding, “It’s your fault he is like this. Come on, eat some Han Han. I want your dad to watch while you are eating and he isn’t.”

Tell me you married someone petty without telling me you married someone petty.
Yeoh Jun had lost the battle but he still hadn’t lost the war. He turned to Zi Han and said, “You look like a grandma.”
Zi Han, “...”
“Now that was uncalled for. Low blow old man, low blow,” he said and Zi Feiji snorted with a smirk on his face.
“Will you look at that. He is really your son. Monkey see monkey do,” he said delivering a death blow to his son in law.
Yeoh Jun was really envious. That hangover soup was taunting him so much that he ended up going downstairs.
“Where are you going?” asked Zi Xingxi and he answered honestly.
“I am going to fend for myself because apparently, my wife doesn’t care about me,” he said acting quite pitiful but who was he kidding? There was no sympathy coming from that direction.
When he reached downstairs he sulkily walked into the kitchen looking for any leftovers. Usually, Zi Feiji would make more just in case someone else wanted some but who would have thought he would find a greedy goblin with a big hat eating straight from the pot?
He cleared his throat loudly trying to draw the other person’s attention but when he saw who it was his hand subconsciously touched his hair with a pale complexion.
Everybody says it is just hair which it probably is but anyone who let this one touch their hair will rethink that statement. Only the heavens know how long it took him to grow out his hair. It was horrible.
He looked like he had been struck by lightning after being run over by a lawnmower and his wife tried to make him wear a toupee till it grew out which was very uncomfortable so no. As the nightmares resurfaced Yeoh Jun took a step back.
“Hey, my loyal customer. I am so glad you are back from the dead. I really can’t wait to get my hands in your hair,” she said and Yeoh Jun didn’t waste time. He turned and ran for his life. He was so fast that one would think he had oil under his feet. There was no way he was ever going to be alone with this woman ever again.
