616 Final Chapter
While the newly wedded couple were exploring each other and indulging in the benefits of marital bliss, Zi Xingxi was looking like she had been through grievous tribulations. Her hair was quite messy, she was walking funny and she looked lethargic as she poured out some coffee.
The interesting thing about this all was that she seemed happy... too happy. She smiled creepily like she did whenever she got a new toy and by toy that would be referring to weapons.
Zi Feiji squinted his eyes a little suspicious. This was unexpected considering that she was the one drinking last night and saying her baby was no longer her baby. There was a lot of weeping and coaxing coming from her husband.
Now she was a happy camper with a spring in her step. Zi Feiji couldn’t help but stare at her while taking a sip of his tea. What made it worse was that she was humming a song. His expression was directly translating to ‘what the fuck is this’.
Zi Xingxi smiled happily at her father giving him shivers down his spine. It was like looking at Pennywise but a much beautiful version.
He was about to ask what was up with her when he saw her taking out a saucepan and started to make hot cocoa. The only person who had had that special treatment was Zi Han when he had done a very good job.
Even he had never been given hot cocoa despite him being her father. He pursed his lips and kept his mouth shut only for Zi Xingxi to glance at him and ask, “Do you want some.”

Zi Xingxi shrugged her shoulders while saying, “Okay.”
.....
After that, she continued to make the hot chocolate still humming. Just as Zi Xingxi took a sip of his tea Yeoh Jun walked in and he was in a much worse state than Zi Xingxi.
He was also walking funny, he had panda eyes and because he was shirtless Zi Feiji could see all the crimson marks on his chest neck and arms.
Yeoh Jun didn’t even notice his father in law sitting there as he sat slumped on the opposite bar stool and lay his head on the kitchen counter using his arms as a pillow. His body was so lifeless like he was dead so Zi Feiji couldn’t help but call him.
“Ah-Jun...,” he called out before taking another sip.
Yeoh Jun let out a soft hum while turning his head slightly to look at his father in law. “Blink twice if you want me to save you,” he said and Yeoh Jun turned away while nodding his head.
Zi Xingxi placed three marshmallows in the mug while saying, “You worked very hard last night. You should just go back to bed.”
Zi Feiji choked on his cup of tea hearing this. This was why these two needed to move out of his house. It’s exactly because of this. This old man couldn’t stand the constant abuse from these two in his own house.
“Dad, are you okay?” she asked while reaching for a glass of water but Zi Feiji didn’t want to stay here any longer than he had to.
“*Cough *cough *cough I am fine *cough just don’t disturb me for the next hour or two... better yet for the rest of the day. For the rest of the day don’t talk to me,” he said before walking out of the kitchen.
As soon as he turned the corner he almost jolted in fright having bumped into Old Lu. “Why are you sneaking around? Damn, you almost gave me a heart attack,” said Zi Feiji while patting his chest.
Old Lu apologised sincerely his head lowered like he was hiding something and Zi Feiji noticed. His brows creased and he asked, “What’s up with that face? What are you hiding?”
Old Lu raised his head and said, “No sir, it’s nothing.” Yes, it was nothing except that his boss was drunk last night and kind of insinuated that they were like a married couple and might as well be.
Was old Lu startled? Yes. Was he upset? No. He was embarrassed and weirdly liked it. Would he ever say anything? Probably not.
“Stop acting weird. Do you want to play chess? I need to cleanse my mind from those two idiots showing too much affection,” he said before taking another sip and walking away.
In a daze, Old Lu stood there with a blank expression rooted on the spot. It took Zi Feiji turning to look at him and saying, “Why are you standing there like a tree. Let’s go,” for Old Lu to come back to himself.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmOld Lu came back to himself and followed after him obediently. Meanwhile, Zi Xingxi was treating her husband like a king. Well, he is the emperor so it made sense that she would treat him like a king but this treatment was from the heart because he was the king of her heart.
She stroked his hair lovingly while placing the mug in front of him. “So... last night,” she said as she leaned down with her elbow resting on the kitchen counter. “Last night you were amazing,” she said whispering into his ear.
Yeoh Jun who didn’t know his wife was this energetic in bed hummed softly while turning to look at her. He stared at her with a slothful sensual gaze. The pair of them looked like high school lovers with their heads lying on the desk while whispering sweet nothings to each other.
“You liked it?” he asked in a raspy lazy voice his gaze on her lips.
Zi Xingxi nodded her head with a beaming smile and Yeoh Jun leaned in close and kissed her.
Ten minutes later, Zi Han who was already fully dressed was standing by the door putting on his sneakers when his light brain made a dinging sound.
He sat down on the shoe storage that doubled down as a stool while checking his light brain. Yi Chen knelt down before him and helped him put on his shoes.
Zi Han opened his messages and skipped over the congratulatory messages and opened his father’s message.
Xixi’sSweetheart: Don’t come back home ever again.
Zi Han, “...
