Chapter 564
Wesley was taken aback by how straightforward William was, openly declaring that they were indeed together. That
was something Isaac hadn’t managed to do five years prior.
Isaac was staring hard at the screen, as if trying to figure out if Brittany’s smile was genuine from the video.
“Zac, Brittany’s with William now. What are you planning to do?”
“She’s mine.” Isaac cut him off abruptly.
Wesley was speechless, “William is our friend after all…”
“Did he think about that when he stole her from me?” Isaac bit his lip and said, “Besides, instead of worrying about
my business, you should figure out how to get Viola back.”
Wesley’s face darkened at Isaac’s jab, and after a while, he stormed off.
After dinner, William walked Brittany to her building.
“Get some rest early tonight.”
Brittany unbuckled her seat belt, “I know, you too.”

William watched her enter the building before instructing his driver to leave.
Back home, Mrs. Dillion saw the news, “You’ve gone public with Brittany. Are you sure about this?”
“I’m sure.” William nodded, “Mom, I know you’ve never really approved of Bri, but I genuinely like her. She’s a good
person, you’ll see.”
Mrs. Dillion sighed, knowing there was no controlling William. If she could have, he wouldn’t have spent the previous
five years by Brittany’s side but instead would’ve been engaged to Carla Salter, just as she had planned.
“Son, everything I do is in your best interest. I genuinely don’t like Brittany. But since you’re so adamant about it,
your father and I will have to give in.” Mrs. Dillion spoke seriously, “However, she was married before. If she can
sever her ties with the Salter family completely, I will treat her as my own daughter. But if she does anything to
tarnish our family’s reputation…”
“Mom, she won’t.”
William knew what Mrs. Dillion meant. He trusted Brittany not to do anything that would harm their reputation.
Seeing his determination, Mrs. Dillion had nothing more to say about that topic. She then said, “Do bring her home
for dinner more often.”
“Sure.”
Brittany pushed open the door to find Daniel inside.
“Mommy!”
Brittany paused to take off her shoes and touched Daniel’s cute cheek, “Daniel, have you eaten yet?”
“I have; the pretty lady made lots of yummy food for me.” Daniel snuggled into her and said, “I missed you,
Mommy.”
The ‘pretty lady’ he was referring to, was the nanny Brittany had hired.
Brittany pinched his cheek and picked him up. Daniel caught a whiff of a cologne scent that was not hers and
frowned, “Mommy, did you go on a date?”
He knew his mommy had a boyfriend then.
William was nice to him too but if mommy started a new family, would she still love him? And what about daddy?
“Yes, I went out for dinner with William tonight.”
Brittany carried Daniel into the living room, and the nanny greeted her, “Ms. Dustin, I’ve prepared some snacks in

“Okay, see you tomorrow.”
After the nanny left, Brittany settled Daniel on the couch and made him a cup of hot milk, “Daniel, I’ve been
meaning to ask; you’re five now; are you going to school?”
“I am. I go to Starlight Nursery.”
Starlight Nursery?

Brittany was taken aback; the nursery near the house she and Isaac had bought was Starlight Nursery.
“Do you live near there?”
“Not really.” Daniel held his milk, enjoying it, “We live in the west end of the city. Granny Emily chose that nursery
because daddy bought a house near there.”
“Then, can I take you to nursery tomorrow morning?”
Daniel’s father was away on business; she couldn’t let his studies be affected, and she also wanted to visit the
nursery.
