Chapter 571
Brittany Dustin ended the call, having thought all along that the Blue Diamond was a fake.
She had cherished it immensely, all because of Isaac Salter.
After going through so much, she didn’t have the energy to care whether the Blue Diamond was real or fake. She
didn’t even remember where she’d tossed it.
Brittany rubbed her temples as a knock came at the door.
“Mr. Dustin, the director’s here.”
“Got it.”
Brittany straightened her clothes, opened the office door, and followed her assistant to the shooting set.
She had met the director before. They exchanged greetings and made some small talk.
A black luxury car pulled up, and the car door opened.
Stella stepped out, dressed in casual black attire, no makeup, but still stunningly beautiful.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtShe was already the cream of the crop in the entertainment industry, needing no external adornments, not even
any embellishment. She was captivating enough, even overshadowing many heavily made-up actresses.
Stella’s aura was powerful, and her appearance seemed to send a chill through the crew. Everyone stopped in their
tracks. Even the director was stunned.
“Mr. Dustin, Stella’s seriously gorgeous.” The assistant lightly tugged at Brittany’s sleeve.
Brittany nonchalantly nodded, acknowledging her.
The assistant thought she had said something wrong, “Mr. Dustin, you’re also quite a looker. You and Stella are in
the same league.”
Brittany couldn’t help but laugh, “You’re overthinking it. Stella’s indeed beautiful and talented. She’s someone who
should be admired.”
The assistant exhaled in relief, “Mr. Dustin, with Stella being this pretty, we’re in for a treat.”
Brittany gave a faint smile.
Stella’s appearance caused a sensation, and the director was the first to snap back to reality, he said, “Stella.”
Stella flashed a smile and extended her hand.
But a man beat her to it.
“It’s getting late, and it’s time to start makeup.”,
The director was dumbfounded.
Looking up, he saw a handsome young man standing before him, his features handsome and slightly arrogant.
He stood beside Stella without losing any of his shine.
His handshake was so firm that the director winced, silently complaining.
Where did this man come from?
Such a firm grip?
And did he sense a hint of jealousy?
The man stood next to Stella, pleased. Stella gave a faint smile.
Quickly regaining his composure, the director introduced all the staff members, including Brittany.
“This is the founder of Bri-jeweled Studio, Mr. Dustin.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmMr. Dustin, this is Stella.”
“Mr. Dustin.” Stella initiated a handshake.
Brittany took her hand, “Stella, it’s nice to be working with you.”
Brittany held a kind of admiration for Stella.
The man beside Stella was indifferent, apparently bearing no animosity towards Brittany.
After the brief pleasantries, Stella went to the makeup room, and Brittany left the set.
Brittany drove to the apartment where she and Isaac had lived five years ago.
Everything outside the complex was exactly the same as five years ago, even the fruit stand at the entrance.
Brittany got out of the car, intending to head straight in.
“Ms. Dustin?”
The fruit stand owner was an old friend, and he was incredulous.
He quickly approached, stopping Brittany, “Is it really you? Are you still alive?”
“Yes, it’s me.”
