Chapter 682
William knew that he was in the wrong..
“I’m sorry about today,” He genuinely said, “If you think it’s better for you not to cooperate with me, then so be it.
Just remember you can always let me know if you need any help in the future.”
“Alright, I understand.”
Having been forced to halt her original partnership, Brittany had no choice but to seek a new one. After giving it
some thought, she decided to reach out to Wesley Tueley, with whom she had previously worked with.
However, they hadn’t been in touch for several years. She wasn’t certain if they could find common ground again.
Brittany dialed Wesley’s number, “Mr. Tueley, are you free? Can we meet up for dinner and discuss a few things?”
Wesley was surprised to hear from Brittany. He didn’t need to guess twice to know that she was probably interested
in the real estate deal. He agreed readily to the proposal.
After hanging up, Brittany asked her secretary to prepare all the necessary documents and make reservations at a

“Zac, I have two pieces of news. Which one do you want to hear first?”
Isaac, who was reviewing background information on a chemical plant, didn’t even bother to look up.
“Whichever you want,” He casually replied.
Disappointed by Isaac’s indifference, Wesley thought, “What a bore. I wonder what Brittany saw in him.”
“The first piece of news is about Brittany. She’s decided to stop working with the Dillion Group because of Carla’s
interference.”
That caught Isaac’s attention as he curiously asked, “Are you talking about the piece of land under consideration for
the new policy?”
“Yes. Brittany didn’t have enough funds to develop it herself, so she wanted to partner with the Dillion Group: But
that plan was ruined.”
Wesley couldn’t help but admire Carla’s ability to destroy a done deal.
“What’s the second piece of news?” Isaac asked, suddenly showing some interest.
“Brittany has approached me for a partnership. Should I accept it?”
Isaac understood the subtext and said, “You’ve worked with her before, and you know that a partnership with her is
always beneficial.”
“But aren’t you also interested in that piece of land?” Nathan had previously researched it.
“If she wants it, she can have it,” Isaac said. If one project could make Brittany happy, then he was willing to give it
to her.
Wesley started clapping and looked at Isaac with a teasing smile, “Zac, who would’ve thought you’d become such a
generous man, trying to win over a woman’s heart.”
If it hadn’t been for the past five years, Wesley would never have thought that someone as stoic as Isaac could fall
in love.
Isaac looked up; his gaze cold as he didn’t want to hear any more of that nonsense, “Shut up.”
“Alright, alright,” Wesley said, dropping the subject, “How’s the chemical plant review going?”
“So far, so good,” Isaac replied, “You should talk to them. If you can reach an agreement, it wouldn’t be a bad

“Okay, I’ll arrange that.”
After Wesley left the room, Isaac sent Brittany a message, asking what time she would be home.
Brittany didn’t reply.
She was busy dealing with the Dustin Group when she received a call from Joseph Palmer, who wanted to discuss
buying her studio.
“Mr. Palmer, I’ve put my heart and soul into this studio. I can’t just sell it,” Brittany refused his proposal, “And
considering our past, I don’t think it’s a good idea for us to cooperate.”
Joseph seemed angered by her refusal. After a long silence, he said in a cold voice, “Once you say that, there’s no
turning back.”
“Well, we’ll see about that,” Brittany responded.
After refusing Joseph, Brittany felt uneasy. She contacted Emily and asked her to take good care of Daniel and keep
him away from outsiders.
Emily understood her concerns and reassured her.
Lastly, she said, “Ms. Dustin, there’s Parent-Child Sports Day event at Daniel’s school this weekend. Would you and
the young master like to attend the event?”
