Lysander calmly poured another cup of tea for Zephyr, lifting his gaze with a low, magnetic voice, he said, "Grandpa, between us, there's no right or wrong. Just different points of view." True to his word, Lysander had never blamed his grandfather. Having lost his parents at a young age, it was his grandparents who raised him, sparing no effort to mold him into a top-notch individual. How could he possibly blhis grandfather? Now, as he and his grandfather went their separate ways, it wasn't out of any resentment towards him, but truly because of differing viewpoints.

"Differences can be worked out, but won't you even givea chance to try?" Zephyr asked Lysander, his face etched with concern.

He had call this way, sincerely hoping to convince Lysander to return and manage the Sinclair Group. "Grandpa, just like you disapprove ofand Thalassa, you didn't give us a chance to work things out either. Could you tellwhat you think?" Lysander put down the teapot, his deep eyes earnestly fixed on Zephyr. Compared to before, his grandfather seemed to have aged more, his face lined with wrinkles and his hair much whiter.

Since his grandmother's passing, his grandfather aged visibly, driven by grief.

Lysander understood his grandfather missed his grandmother deeply. When she was alive, every day he lived with purpose and vitality.

But after her death, his grandfather's spirit seemed to waver, his approach to matters losing the rational edge it once had, becoming extrand impulsive.

Especially concerning Thalassa.

"I've made myself clear before, Thalassa's background doesn't match yours, and she's quite scheming. I fear you'll end up like your father," Zephyr mused.

"But the truth proves she's nothing like Belinda. If she were, she could have taken the money and left during those three years. Instead, she chose to stay by my side without asking for anything," Lysander was determined to clear his grandfather's misunderstanding about Thalassa.

He wanted his grandfather to shed his prejudice against her.

But he had yet to find the right opportunity, and now, finally, he could explain Thalassa's character to his grandfather.

"She did take care of you for those three years, but that was her seeking redemption," Zephyr said, slightly angered.

Taking a deep breath, as if to quell his inner annoyance, he continued, "You ended up in a coma trying to save her even beca vegetable. It's good she had the conscience to know she owed you, so she stayed to take care of you for three years. But guilt doesn't equate to being upright and kind." ☐☐☐ se "Grandpa, saving her was my choice, and it was what I owed her. I've made it clear to her that we owe nothing to each other now. She could have ignored me, but she didn't. No matter how hard it was, she stayed by my side, taking care ofmeticulously. Doesn't that prove something?" Lysander was convinced of Thalassa's character, clearly understanding her nature. She wasn't fickle like Belinda, nor did she have the cunning swomen possess.

She was simply a woman who wanted to live a good life, loving her children more than herself.

Her past actions, all the secrets she kept, were merely to keep her children close, fearing they might be taken from her.

"Lysander, we're talking about the

company and you're bringing Thalassa into this?" Zephyr picked up the teacup from the table; then placed it down heavily to show his displeasure. He'd rather not talk about Thalassa.

Once someone forms a bias against another, it's hard to feel any affection towards them.

In Zephyr's eyes, everything that had gone wrong with Lysander was Thalassa's fault.

How obedient and respectful Lysander used to be towards him.

Lysander would have followed his life plan perfectly, but since Thalassa's arrival, Lysander had resisted his decisions tand again.

He even gave up the Sinclair Group, preferring to leave with Thalassal for an ordinary life, father than listen to him any longer. X
