Chapter 1041
After hacking through a network of surveillance systems with the help of ten ace
programmers, Lysander had finally traced the thunderous noise that had set him on this
frantic chase to Starhaven Airport.
He descended upon the airport with his crew, urgency etched in every line of their bodies
as they scanned the throngs of travelers with relentless precision.
The airport buzzed with tension as Lysander’s team moved through the crowds. Their
presence cast a shadow of unease over the passengers. In a mere ten minutes, they had
vetted every transient, yet there was no sign of Thalassa or the children.
Lysander’s chiseled features were set in a mask of icy determination. The heat of his
anger simmering beneath the surface, threatening to erupt like a volcano and consume
everything in its path.
“Check all the flights that took off in the last twenty minutes!” he commanded coldly.

Three planes had departed in that critical window; one headed to Merid Country, another
to Yonder Country, and the last one to Weston Country.
“Contact the pilots. Instruct them to be on the lookout for any passengers traveling with
quadruplets and report back immediately!” Lysander ordered.
David acknowledged the command and hurried off to make it happen.
Meanwhile, high above the grounded chaos, Thalassa gazed out the airplane window and
basked in the unfamiliar sensation of relief. She was finally free, free to live a simple and
liberated life away from it all.
The children had only ever known the steady chug of a train as their most advanced form
of travel.
The plane ride had been a delight, but now, soaring even higher in a commercial jet, they
were completely entranced by the new and astonishing view.
Eager little faces jostled for a peek out the window, marveling at the clouds and the blue
sky they were used to admiring from below. Now, they were flying above them, looking
down upon fluffy white landscapes as though they were walking on air.
“The sun looks like a fried egg on top of the clouds! It’s so fun!” Elowen exclaimed, her
small hands pressed against the glass in awe.
“Where? Let me see. I want to look too!” Dorian squeezed in beside his sibling, eager to
catch a glimpse of the whimsical scene Elowen described.
Thalassa wrapped her arms around her children, her smile mirroring their joy. Their

wonder and happiness were hers to share, as she too experienced the ty of flying.
“Excuse me, ma’am, what would you like for your meal? We have pasta, boxed lunches,

smile.
Thalassa zoomed back to the reality and settled the children back into their seats.
“How much for each?” she asked, the question spilling out before she could catch it.
“Everything is complimentary on board, ma’am. We aim to serve our passengers with the
utmost care.” the flight attendant responded with a courteous and warm smile.
Thalassa blushed slightly, feeling a tad embarrassed. Her had only been on trains, where
you had to pay for your meals.
“I’ll take five boxed lunches, please. Thank you” Thalassa said, recovering her composure.
“Five?” The attendant glanced at the four children seated around Thalassa with mild
curiosity. “Are all of these children yours?”
“Yes,” Thalassa replied without hesitation.
“They look about the same age. They’re all yours?” the attendant inquired further.
“They’re quadruplets.” Thalassa explained.
“Quadruplets? That’s quite rare, and they’re adorable.” the flight attendant remarked with
a genuinely warm and affectionate smile at the children.
