“Ah! It hurts!” Avery's delicate skin stung from Cayden's forceful scrubbing. She felt as though he was about to
scrub a layer of her skin away.
Her pale skin was even starting to turn pink.
Unbothered, Cayden did not stop his movements. A dark glimmer flickered across his eyes as he kept scrubbing in
an attempt to remove all the traces of another man on Avery's body.
Avery felt as though she was drowning. By the time Cayden fished her out of the bathtub, her skin was so red that
she looked like a cooked prawn.
Only then did Cayden carry her burning body in front of a glass wall.
They were on the highest floor of the hotel. From the huge, transparent window, they could see the entire bustling
city.
The world outside looked brightly lit.
The night scene of the city looked as though thousands of gold and silver pearls were hung on a string. It was as
beautiful as a dream.
In front of the glass wall was an exquisite antique recliner.
If one were to sit on that chair, they would be facing the glass wall and having an unobstructed view of the world
outside.
Sensing what he was about to do, Avery shook her head in an attempt to clear her blurry mind. “Cayden, don't...
Not there...”
Avery was terrified that Cayden would do unspeakable things to her in front of the whole city.
To her dismay, even though her mouth was objecting, her body was not following her command.
Lustful desires consumed her. She wanted to wrap herself around Cayden's lean figure and climb up.
An evil sneer appeared on Cayden's face as he placed her down on the recliner before reaching out his two hands
to grab her ample bosoms.
Avery wanted to resist, yet her long slender legs spread wide and wrapped themselves around his firm body as if
they had a mind of their own.
Cayden's sharp gaze did not once leave the woman lying on the chair, who was twisting and turning.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtHer movements were absolutely enchanting—like a kitten that was playing with a ball of yarn. Cayden was
captivated by her body.
Raising her eyes to look at the night sky, Avery was embarrassed to find her thigh facing the city lights outside.
An unexplainable fear rose in her chest, causing her to shrink away subconsciously. “Don't...”
Avery shook her head profusely as she begged, trying not to choke. She was not the type of person who would
allow herself to do something as shameful as doing it in front of a window. Humiliation overwhelmed her.
Cayden leaned forward with a smirk that would make one's heart grow cold. His voice was laced with enticement.
“You don't have a say in this, Ery. Your body is begging for my touch.”
He did not tell her that all the glass windows in the room were extremely high-tech.
They could see everything that was happening outside the window, but nothing could be seen from the outside.
Avery was like a cat without bones, twisting her body in Cayden's embrace with her eyes half-closed as she moaned
and panted.
“Avery, have I ever told you that your voice sounds amazing when you moan?” Cayden's pupils dilated as his gaze
fell onto their reflection in the window. Their naked bodies were entangled with each other.
Avery's mind went blank as she gave up thinking. The desire in her body had caused her to kiss every inch of his
body without restraint.
However, he seemed to be teasing her like a pet, holding himself back despite their reproductive organs brushing
against each other.
The unbearable torment was about to make Avery lose her mind.
If she could not release her desires any longer, the effects of the drug would consume her from the inside out.
However, at the thought of his insulting and humiliating words about her, giant droplets of tears streamed down her
cheeks.
Avery closed her eyes, refusing to look at him.
Upon seeing her tears, all sense of wrath in Cayden's heart vanished without a trace. Kissing her tears away, he
suddenly thrust forward and entered her.
Amidst the action, Avery thought she heard his faint sigh. “I'm sorry, Ery. The scene I witnessed today made me
completely lose my reasoning. That was why I said all those horrible things to you. You have no idea how much you
mean to me...”
It was because he loved her so deeply that even a spare glance from another man felt like competition.
When he saw that she was about to be taken advantage of by Dylan, it was as though a sharp blade had pierced
into his chest, causing his heart to ache.
Avery was the greatest gift of his youth.
Cayden's youth was like a desolate world, covered in snow with no sign of spring.
Avery was like a vine that had sprouted in the middle of the winter, bringing its green leaves to the canvas of white
and growing in the soil of his heart. Slowly but surely, the vine had covered the entire soil, and flowers began to
bloom gradually, bringing beauty into his world in the blink of an eye.
Avery might look normal to everyone else, but Cayden would give his everything to her.
Due to the lack of trust between the two, the night was filled with mere primitive reproductive instinct. Their
entangled bodies rubbing against each other no longer had the sublimation it used to bring.
When they reached the climax, Cayden held onto Avery in a death grip, as though he desired to become one flesh
with her.
Meanwhile, Avery could hear him saying “I'm sorry” over and over again in her ear.
Tears covered her entire face as she opened her mouth and bit his neck hard like she was about to rip his flesh
apart.
And yet, Cayden did not even frown. Instead, his thrusting got increasingly harder and more ferocious, as though
he wanted to break her body.
It was a night full of madness.
The next day, the sun shone through the glass ceilings, filling the spacious room with its rays.
The vast night sky had been replaced by the light of day. It was almost blinding.
By the time Avery woke up, it was already eight in the morning.
When she opened her eyes, she was the only person left in the suite. Cayden had left a long time ago. A sense of
unexplainable disappointment filled her heart.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmShe tried to move her body, and it felt as though every joint in her body had gone loose as she ached all over.
Groaning in pain, she silently called Cayden a beast.
All of a sudden, she remembered the two children at home. Panic consumed her heart as she felt extremely guilty.
Just as she was about to call the children, a series of urgent ringing came from the doorbell.
Avery blinked. Thinking it was Cayden, she simply threw on a bathrobe and opened the door. To her surprise,
Lindsay entered the room.
The unsightly mess on the floor did not escape Lindsay's notice.
Many used tissues were scattered on top of the exquisite carpet.
The room still smelled of raging hormones. Not to mention the marks on Avery's neck were visible.
Having the experience herself, Lindsay naturally knew what had happened.
Nevertheless, she merely glanced at Avery before turning away and placing a set of clothes on top of the bed. “Ms.
Rumpley, here are the clothes Mr. Moore had requested to be sent to you.”
“Thank you.”
Avery felt uneasy under Lindsay's gaze.
After all, she was not used to being exposed in front of someone else. She always felt as though they could see
through her.
“Ms. Rumpley, Mr. Moore had asked me to inform you that he had already sent Mr. Zachary and Ms. Rory to the
Moore residence. I just wanted to remind you not to leave the children unattended at home again at night in the
future, no matter what. They are still little, and they need to be accompanied by adults, especially Rory. She's
terrified of storms.”
It was evident that Lindsay had learned that Avery had left Zachary and Rory alone at home last night.
That was the first time Lindsay felt displeased toward Avery.
In her mind, Zachary and Rory were noble and precious. The idea of them living with Avery in such a run-down
residential area did not sit well with her.
The fact that Avery was not home at night meant that the two children were alone in the residential area. What if
someone broke into the house when she wasn't around and harmed the children? What if something happened to
them?
