Chapter 705 Finding Hugh
Cassie lit another cigarette, her beautiful face veiled in gloom.
Three factions were in pursuit of Hugh. Dark River was one, Taron's group was another, and the third was Xander,
the godfather of Aploth.
They needed to outpace both Taron and Xander to locate Hugh first.
Otherwise, if they let him slip through their fingers, regaining control over a man as calculating as him would prove
challenging.
“Ms. Cassie...”
While Cassie was lost in contemplation, another subordinate rushed into the room, their voice a hushed and eager
whisper as they shared, “We've received information about Hugh.”
Cassie immediately extinguished her cigarette and sprung to her feet, demanding urgently, “Where is he now?”
“He's near the Glory Street mall. Right now, he's—”
Before the subordinate could finish his sentence, Cassie had already vanished from the room.
Dusk settled in.
The pedestrian mall at Mocset was bustling as usual.
In the midst of the crowd, there was Cayden, wearing large sunglasses that only revealed his beautifully curved
jawline.
Amidst the throngs, Cayden stood, his large sunglasses framing his finely sculpted jawline. He glared coldly at the
black sedans lining the street, effectively blocking traffic. Their presence provoked complaints from irritated tourists
as they forced other vehicles aside.
The whole street had turned into a traffic snarl, and Dark River's trademark arrogance was all too evident.
Meanwhile, seated in a car, Cassie found her attention inexplicably drawn to the side. It was as if her instincts were
on high alert. Her gaze connected with the handsome visage of Cayden.
Despite his sunglasses obscuring much of his face, Cassie immediately recognized him.

the nerve to appear right in front of them. Cassie's emotions were a volatile mix of elation and exasperation.
On one hand, she was ecstatic to have finally cornered him; on the other, his every move seemed to have been
made in defense of another woman.
“Ms. Cassie, is it possible that this is a ploy by Hugh?” one of her capable subordinates speculated, his voice tinged
with suspicion. “He meticulously escaped from Eerie Island, eluding capture for over two years. Could he truly make
such a careless blunder and reveal himself so easily? Is it plausible that he'd walk right into our trap?”
“What do you think?”
“I wouldn't put it past Hugh to orchestrate a diversion using this man as a decoy,” the subordinate stated. “He's
adept at disguises, able to craft a near-perfect duplicate without breaking a sweat.”
Cassie's laughter rang with a chilling edge. “Certainly, there may exist men in this world who bear a resemblance to
him. But that demeanor, do you honestly believe anyone else could replicate it?”
“Perhaps coincidences do happen, even in a world as calculated as this. Moreover, there isn't anything Hugh can't
accomplish.”
“Enough! That man is Hugh. Even if he were reduced to ashes, I would recognize him!” Cassie's gaze remained
fixated on the tall, handsome figure.
Amidst the bustling crowd of diverse tourists, even with numerous striking Eastern Epea men passing him by, he still
managed to outshine them all.
Cayden, too, had noticed Cassie.
With a devilishly charming smile, he removed his sunglasses, and then swiftly disappeared into the shopping mall.
At the sight of his smile, Cassie felt a surge of vitality rushing through her veins, revitalizing her heart.
“Go after him! Lock down the entire mall; I want him cornered from every angle!” Cassie's command was sharp
and unwavering.
Cayden deftly entered a boutique, showcasing an array of fashionable items from renowned brands. Ranging from
clothing to footwear, it offered a comprehensive selection.
A tall, blonde shop assistant with emerald eyes was immediately captivated by Cayden's entrance.
Approaching him eagerly, she extended a warm welcome, “Sir, greetings. How may I be of service to you? We
feature the latest men's fashion...”
However, Cayden dismissed her with a wave, his voice confident. He spoke in fluent Remdikian. “No need, I'm just
browsing.”
Under the astonished gaze of the shop assistant, he casually selected a few dresses and headed to the fitting room
for a change. When he emerged, the shop assistant's jaw dropped in sheer captivation.
What a stunning “woman” before her!
With skin as fair as snow, a proud and elegant nose, and lips of a deep, enticing red, Cayden embodied a beguiling
allure. Long, wine-red curls cascaded lazily over his shoulders, enhancing his captivating charm. Adorning himself in
a romantic floral maxi dress that accentuated his graceful form, he exuded a magnetic presence. And his eyes,
crystal-clear and cool, resembled the snow on a chilly mountain peak.
That air of detachment coupled with a mysterious allure left one utterly spellbound.
“S-Sir? Should I address you as sir, o-or miss?” The shop assistant was left utterly flabbergasted, her words
stumbling out in a mix of astonishment.
She simply couldn't fathom how an incredibly handsome man could walk into a fitting room and emerge as an
extraordinarily beautiful woman.
What on earth is happening?
Cayden placed a large sun hat on his head, then tossed a card to the shop assistant. His voice was so magnetic that
it could impregnate ears. “Enough with the chitchat. I'd like to settle the bill!”
After paying for his purchases, he confidently sauntered out of the mall, attired in women's clothing.
Behind him, the shop assistant remained in a state of disbelief.
She never anticipated that this seemingly ordinary man might be a cross-dressing fetishist. He's not a pervert, is

Cayden, on the other hand, walked down the street in his feminine attire with an air of nonchalance. His life had
been dictated by various rules and limitations, and he had never been as audacious as he was that day.
Dark River was overwhelmingly powerful; he had no desire to fall into their clutches once again. Thus, he had no
choice but to adopt this unconventional approach.
With considerable effort, and thanks to Armand's assistance, he had made it to Mocset. He couldn't afford to falter
at this juncture.
He was determined to see Avery as soon as possible.
Soon after Cayden exited the mall, he noticed several ominous figures dressed in black approaching him. They
were going about, drawing the attention of customers, showing them a picture they held in their hands, and asking
if anyone had seen that man.
The prominently displayed image was a frontal view of Cayden, held by every individual in black.
“Hey, stop right there! Have you seen this man?” one of the imposing figures in black called out to Cayden.
Without hesitation, they boldly obstructed his path.
Cayden removed his sunglasses, revealing an astonishingly beautiful face that left the Eastern Epeans in speechless
awe. Concurrently, he purposefully softened his voice to a sweet, low murmur, “While I was browsing the craft shop
just now, I believe I spotted the person in the photo. He was near the crafts section...”
With a nonchalant flick of his slender finger, he indicated another direction. The leader swiftly waved his hand and
issued the order, “Let's move!”
The group immediately departed with enthusiasm, heading toward the direction of the craft store.
Meanwhile, Cayden put his sunglasses back on, effortlessly blending into the bustling crowd as he walked away.
Cassie, accompanied by dozens of armed men dressed in black, arrogantly obstructed the entrance of the
shopping mall. The dark barrels of their guns were aimed at anyone emerging, utterly disregarding the frightened
expressions of the tourists. Every individual leaving the mall had to undergo rigorous scrutiny before being allowed
to pass.
