“Lillian, don’t get distracted when you get in later. The people we will be meeting today are all senior executives of

those real estate companies,” the director reminded.

“I got it,” Lillian replied as she gathered her focus.

As they walked into the hall, Lillian abruptly stopped in her tracks and saw a familiar silhouette. It was Yvette!

As the second daughter of the Hamilton family, she had also caused much suffering to Rosalie in prison, and Lillian

loathed her.

The director, Seamus Todd, was stunned. “Do you mean… Lillian?”

“Is that so? I don’t know her name, but I can’t really stand the sight of her.” Glancing at Lillian contemptuously,

Yvette may not know her name, but she knew this woman was Rosalie’s friend.

‘When Rosalie was in jail, this woman helped her out a lot.

Suddenly, everyone’s eyes fell on Lillian.

It was Callum.

Next, Callum pulled her out of the two men’s grip. He carefully examined her and asked, “Are you okay? They didn’t

hurt you, did they?”

His eyes were full of worry.

Lillian shook his head. She opened her mouth to ask, but her voice was choked with sobs. “W-Why are you here?”

She did not feel like crying when Yvette humiliated her, but she felt like she was on the verge of tears now that he

saved her.

Callum gently combed the hair resting on Lillian’s forehead. “All right, don’t cry anymore. I’ll get back justice for

your grievances.

With that, he walked straight toward the man who ordered his subordinates to seize Lillian and was about to drag

her out. “Apologize.”

The man clearly did not recognize Callum and immediately became displeased. “Who do you think you are to ask

for an apology-”

Before he could finish his words, Callum had sent him tumbling to the ground with a punch.

The man’s subordinates tried to step forward, but were stopped by Callum’s bodyguards.
