Dominic I hurry back has I'm so eager to find out what's going on with Vanessa and as soon as I open the front doors and take a few steps in, I slow down in my tracks at the sight of my entire family, including my father-in-law gathered in the living room.

As I get closer and make eye contact with my siblings, they shootglares, just like they've been doing. We haven't spoken since the day I told them the whole truth.

My mother sits beside Vanessa while frowning at me, feeding her ssnacks even though she can do it on her own. She's been very supportive but has barely spoken to my wife about what happened.

After her speech, no one says a word and my heart starts racing as I tighten my grip on her hand. The way she cto my defense and spoke out to point out her own part in all this brings a smile to my face. She givesa nod and I just want to kiss her and make love to her right now, but it's not yet time.

"Enough," my father says, the room falling silent again as we all wait for him to speak since he hasn't said a word to me, just like everyone else. "There's no need for you to go public with this. "I know and you have every right to be." While hugging her, I look right at my father-in-law, who seems sad and deep in thought.
