"Miss, are you okay?” James asked his voice full of worry immediately he saw Amanda.

"Mmh," Amanda replied as she walked into the car.

"Miss, your family is worried sick about you," James said.

"I know. I am going has I need to rest," Amanda said as she felt a bit tired and also, she was still in pain between her legs.

James didn't see anything wrong with her words as he could tell that she was in pain and something was wrong but he didn't intend to ask as he knew that he had to keep the boundary between him and his boss.

"Miss, before you call. An hour ago, the hotel was flooded with reporters, it was said that a well-known billionaire, a successful CEO had a scandal in the hotel. That she was sleeping with a man. However, when they went to her room, they didn't find anyone and the room didn't look like someone had spent the night there," James' words woke Amanda.

"What?" Amanda asked as she didn't believe what she heard.

"Where are the people I was having dinner with?" she asked making James look at her in confusion. 'Weren't you the one with them yesterday? Why are you asking me?' it was written all over her face making Amanda speechless.

"After droppingoff, tell my aunt, uncle, and sister that I will be going back to the capital thus they should prepare themselves so that we can go all together," Amanda said calmly as she massaged her temple. "Miss, don't you have a lot of work here?” James asked in confusion.

"The people who cyesterday are from the capital. At the back, Amanda fell asleep making James speechless as he had never seen her sleeping in the car "Miss seems to be tired. When did they finish the discussion? And what h that Miss couldn't go back home?" he murmured to himself as he couldn't understand anything.

After twenty minutes, he stopped the car before Amanda's mansion.

"Miss, we are here?” he roared hoping that it would be enough to wake her up but it was fruitless.

He didn't think of carrying her as he knew what would happen to him when the big boss discovered about it.

With no option left, he stepped out of the car and walked towards the door.

After knocking a couple of times, it was finally opened.

"James, what are you doing here?" Mr Anderson, Amanda's uncle asked as he knew that the latter was supposed to be in the company especially now that they didn't know where Amanda was and they were all anxious.

"I brought Miss back hbut she fell asleep on the way. She is in the car,” James said carefully as he was afraid of the latter.

Although the middle-aged man was smiling and looked as if he was a danger, James knew how ruthles the Andersons could be when someone closed them.

"Oh," Mr Anderson said before walking out.

He picked Amanda up and carried her inside the house.

"Thank you for bringing her back. Go back and look after the company," Mr Anderson said coldly with no intention of letting James walk inside.

"Sir, before Miss fell asleep, she said that she needed to go back to the capital and that I should inform you all so that you can accompany her there," James said.

"Okay," Mr Anderson replied impatience evident in his tone making James speechless but didn't dare stay any longer as he was afraid that he might anger the man.

Mr Anderson walked into the house holding Amanda.

"Is that Amanda? Where was she?" Second Mrs Anderson said when she saw her husband walking ins "I don't know. We have to wait for her to wake up. James is the one that dropped her off but she fell asleep on the way," Mr Anderson said as she walked upstairs.

"Quick, take her in so that she can have enough rest," Second Mrs Anderson said as she opened Amanda's bedroom door for her husband.

After placing Amanda on the bed and covering her, they both left.

"What happened? Why is she in such a state? Do you think that she is sick?" Second Mrs Anderson asked as she was worried about her niece.

"I don't know. We can first wait and see whether she will wake up or what will happen to her in sfew hours before calling Luke to check on her," Mr Anderson said making his wife nod her head.

“Let's inform the others that she is safely home," Second Mrs Anderson said before walking towards her phone and picking it up.

"Okay," Mr Anderson said as he took his phone too.

After the two finished calling the others, they sat beside each other.

"I think that something has happened as Amanda told James that she will be going back to the capita and that we should prepare ourselves and accompany her," Mr Anderson said what he thought.

"Well, we can only know what happened to her after she wakes up. Also, I don't that going to the capital is a bad idea. After all, we haven't been back hfor smonths now," Second Mrs Anderson said and her husband nodded his head agreeing with her.

In the next thirty minutes, Ariana and the others who were in the city walked into the house as they were still worried about Amanda although they had been informed that she was safely brought back.
