Olivia panicked.

“Mommy, it’s rushing at us!” Ezra subconsciously stretched out his arms and hugged her neck. He

looked nervous and horrified.

“Don’t be afraid. I’m here. Close your eyes.” Olivia looked calmly at the black car that was rushing over

from not far away. The car was driving so fast that she didn’t have time to find a place to hide in the

mountain. She found a protruding stone and placed Ezra between her and the stone.

She had estimated that if the car rushed over, Ezra would be safe.

At this critical moment, Olivia was occupied with how to ensure Ezra’s safety. She had completely

forgotten about herself.

Olivia blocked Ezra and covered her head. She was ready to give up her life.

However, she felt no pain though there was a loud crash.

She turned around and found that a black Rolls–Royce was steadily blocking in front of them, and the

front of the black car was destroyed after colliding with the Rolls–Royce.

Smoke began to rise from the engine box.

Then the door of the Rolls–Royce suddenly opened, and a man walked out.

It was William!

He was wearing a black wool coat, and the beautiful golden embroidery on his cuffs looked noble and

dazzling in the sunlight.

He turned around, and blood was dripping from his delicate face.

Olivia was looking at him in a daze. “Olivia, are you all right?” William asked nervously. He quickly

walked over and held her hand.

“I, I’m fine. You’re injured. You’re still bleeding. Does it hurt?” Olivia looked at him and was so moved

that she wanted to

cry.

The moment she saw William getting out of the car, her heart pumped vigorously. She and her son had

been saved.

William was like a god that had suddenly appeared!

She gently touched his forehead with her thin and delicate hand, and tears welled up in her eyes.

William looked at her and became absent–minded for a moment.

He remembered that once after they got married, he went out to drink because of a bad mood, but had

a car accident and hurt his head. Tears welled up in her eyes, too. And her delicate hands trembled

and touched his forehead, asking him if it hurt.

She was worried for him. But it was all regarded as false affection by him back then.

He thought that she was a liar with excellent acting skills!

Sadness surged in his heart. He came to his senses, pulled her into his arms, and hugged her tightly.

“Olivia, thank god. You didn’t hurt!”

William thought to himself. “Thank God. You are sound and safe so that I would have a chance to make

up for you.”

Olivia was held tightly by him. For the first time, she did not push him away in a hurry. Instead, she

hugged him tightly in

return.

He smelt of cool wooden fragrance, which made her happy and eager back then.

She would just hold him for a while as a reward for having survived a disaster!

Olivia thought so and became happier.

Ezra saw his parents hugging and looked at his father with admiring eyes.

His father looked like a super hero and was so cool when he appeared unexpectedly just now!

Ezra liked it!

He didn’t stop them when his parents hugged each other tightly.

They had hugged for a long time. He wanted to hug his father, too. After all, his father was like a

superhero. He wanted a

Ezra hesitated, but in the end, he ran over and hugged his father’s thigh.

“Papa!”

“Luci, are you all right? Come on, let me hold you in my arms!” William felt Ezra’s hug and reluctantly

let go of Olivia.

He bent down and held Ezra in his arms.

Olivia looked at Ezra and realized that she had been a little absent–minded just now.

Holding Ezra in his arm, William focused his gaze on the abandoned black car not far away.

“He’s already run away, but Marshall and other people are in front of him. He’s injured and can’t run

and the van had turned into a path.

“It’s very easy because I have installed a tracker on Luci.”

Ezra was confused.

Did Papa install a tracker on him? When and where?

Ezra began to wonder when he had fallen into William’s “trap“.

When Olivia heard it, she panicked, too.

She didn’t know when William had started tracking Ezra’s whereabouts or if Ezra’s secret had been

exposed.

She was a little worried, but she shouldn’t worry about this at the moment.

“You’re injured. Let’s go back first.”

“Okay,” William replied in an extremely gentle voice.

Olivia didn’t want to look into his tantalizing eyes anymore, so she took the initiative to drive.

Then Gideon came over with his men. He didn’t wait for Olivia as he was ordered.

“Miss Clarke!”

“Miss Clarke, are you okay? I’m sorry, I’m late!” Gideon immediately got out of the car nervously and

came to Olivia upon seeing the car accident.

He deeply blamed himself when he saw Olivia’s embarrassed look.

He should have come earlier to pick up her!

When he heard the explosion, he was terrified.

“I’m fine. Since you’re here, you can drive us back.”
