He had only agreed to Chloe’s proposition because he thought that taking in the artists from Infinity Media would be

an impossible feat.

Infinity Media was reluctant to let their artists go and the artists themselves were afraid of the influence of the

Alonso family. They were essentially stuck in Infinity Media for the duration of their contract. This made Chloe’s

dream seem like a pipe dream.

Seth was scratching his head yesterday, unable to understand why Chloe would bring up this matter when she knew

that Wendy wasn’t the type to let go of her talents easily Chloe was a woman whose single move could serve many

purposes. She wanted him to take in the artists from Infinity Media not just because it was beneficial, but also to

leverage his influence in the industry

Seth hadn’t given this much thought before. But now, he was being openly exploited by Chloe. He had been

reduced to a pawn in her game!

Even if Infinity Media was in a bad shape, it was still the Alonso family’s property, If they weren’t willing to back

down, they would first need to think of how to strike at Seth! Although Seth wasn’t afraid of such conflicts, he would

have to invest a lot of energy and effort if they were to happen. Wave Entertainment had always been low–key, but

now, thanks to Chloe, it had been dragged into a business war. Nobody would be happy about that. With all the

Damon sure knew how to pick a wife! Even Seth had been manipulated by her. There probably wasn’t anyone else

in this world who had the guts and the ability to pull off something like this!

Charlie was scared when he saw Seth’s angry expression.

Apart from times he dealt with Ms. Cicely, Mr. Diaz rarely showed such a terrifying expression. But Charlie still

plucked up the courage to ask.

“Mr, Diaz, what… what should we do now?”

If it was anyone else, Charlie would have been able to handle it. After all, no one else would dare to take such a risk.

But this time it was Ms. Summers of Starlight International, Mr. Harper’s fiancée, Charlie had to tread carefully. He

didn’t have the nerve or the authority to make any decisions on this matter.

When the elevator reached the top floor, Seth received a message on his phone.

Chloe – [Pleasure doing business.]

A vein throbbed on Seth’s forehead as he promptly added Chloe to his blacklist!

Seth exited the elevator with Charlie trailing after him. As they reached the door of his office, Charlie was still

waiting for Seth’s answer, “Mr. Diaz, what should we…”

“Do?” Seth interrupted with a laugh. “Do you want to cross Damon?”

Charlie immediately lowered his head and answered without hesitation, “I wouldn’t dare!”

Crossing Damon would be like asking for trouble!

“Get out,” Seth said, entering his office and slamming the door behind him, startling everyone on the floor.

But it wasn’t long before the office door was flung open again and Seth’s towering figure appeared in the doorway.

“Mr. Diaz…”

“Chloe is at the orphanage today. Have someone tail her.”

Charlie was stunned for a second before quickly regaining his senses. “Yes, sir!”

Chloe didn’t get a response from Seth, but she didn’t care. Her goal had been achieved. She got in her car and

drove smoothly to the office.

The reporters waiting outside the company immediately recognized Chloe’s car. Before it even came to a stop, they

swarmed her, only to be held back by a group of bodyguards who suddenly appeared.

“Ms. Summers, are you here to negotiate contracts with the artists from Infinity Media?” One reporter shouted at

Chloe.

Chloe was taken aback when she saw the bodyguards but quickly realized who was doing this. It wasn’t the first

time, after all.

Having bodyguards was always a plus, especially now that she was pregnant. With so many people around, she

couldn’t be sure to avoid accidents.

“Ms. Summers, can you tell us what news brought you here today?”

“Ms. Summers…”

Chloe remained silent all the way to the entrance of Starlight International. Once she was sure she was in a safe

spot, she turned to the reporters and smiled.

“I’m sorry, but I can’t share any news with you at the moment. I definitely want to work with talented individuals. As

for the artists from Infinity Media, I can’t say for sure, Maybe they’re looking for me for reasons other than

collaboration? So, let’s all just wait a little longer. As soon as I have any news, you’ll be the first to know.”

“We don’t need to wait. We’re here to discuss collaboration with you.”

Chloe had barely finished speaking when a firm voice rang out from behind her. She turned to look and saw a group

of people coming from the lounge area. Leading them was Dona, the top agent of Infinity Media.

Reporters rushed to get a look inside the lobby, watching Dona and her entourage approach Chloe. Dona locked

eyes with Chloe and smiled slightly.

Chloe raised an eyebrow and returned the smile.

“Ms. Summers, you sure are quick. We didn’t even have a chance to make our case.”

“What?” Chloe was confused.

Dona chuckled quietly, flashing her phone at Chloe. “It’s fine for me to take the lead now. I’m Dona, and I want to

bring the artists I manage to join Starlight International. What do you say, Ms. Summers?”

Chloe nodded. “Sure.”

Even after working in the entertainment industry for so long and seeing all kinds of things, she was still taken aback

by Chloe’s unhesitant response. “Are you sure you don’t

need to think about my question first?”

Chloe laughed, hands tucked in the pockets of her trench coat, looking relaxed and casual. Her answer was

decisive, but not without a sense of nonchalance. “Why do you think I’m doing all this?”

To take control of Infinity Media. That was the silent answer in everyone’s minds.

If Dona had any doubts about Chloe before, they were now completely dispelled by her rhetorical question.

Chloe really had guts.

Dona smiled faintly, looking at the plethora of reporters around, saying, “So many reporters here, and you’re being

so blatant?”

Chloe responded dismissively, “Who doesn’t know that Ms. Wendy of Infinity Media and I can’t stand each other?”

The reporters shook their heads. “We all know. But you’re being very straightforward about it.“”

Chloe laughed again, looking at the sea of reporters in front of her, saying, “If I don’t like someone, why hide it? If I

say it out loud, maybe more people will join me in disliking her. I think that would be great.”

Everyone fell silent. Did she really need to be so explicit?

Meanwhile, Wendy hadn’t even made it back to the office before her secretary called to tell her that most of the

company’s artists had already arrived at Starlight International.

Furious, Wendy smashed her phone and immediately drove off to Starlight International!
