“Whether I can find another high–paying job is not your concern!” Ava snorted. Despite what she said, she knew

that it had taken her incredible hard work to finally rise to the position of sales director after working for over six

years in Acme Group. If she left the company, it would be extremely difficult for her to find a job with an equal offer

and she might even have to start over.

company and I will definitely reward you. Miss Addice, if you agree to stay, I will assign you as our Region Manager

and your pay will double! As for Miss Lynch, you will take over Miss Addice original position as the new sales

director! Do you still want to quit now?” Mister Javner said calmly.

Both Ava and Janice hesitated as they felt their determination wavering. Though it had been humiliating to be

slapped across the face, it would be a lie for Ava to say that she was not tempted by the position of Region Manager

and a double pay. On the contrary, if she truly left Acme Group, she might not find a decent job at all and for a

moment, Ava was at a crossroad.

Janice was even more tempted by the offer. She was only earning forty–five thousand a year and if she became the

sales director, not only would she rise to the management level, her salary would triple and she would be able to

improve her family’s lives.

“Miss Addice, Miss Lynch, think this over!” Mister Javner grinned smugly.

People were often tempted by what benefited them and he was certain that Janice and Ava would cave before the

temptation of higher pay.

“Screw Region Manager and sales director! Janice, don’t listen to him! This kind of man only has his eyes on money

and if you continue to work for him, he will sell you out one day!” Leon said coldly.

After listening to what Mister Javner had to say, Leon concluded that Mister Javner was a selfish and immoral

materialist. Ava had not thought for a moment of betraying Janice when negotiating with Mister Lynch, but had

Mister Javner been here, he would definitely sell Janice out to Mister Lynch.
