“Take him!” Relieved, Jacob ordered Dexter and Warren to carry Ashwin before retreating out of the room.

Once they were gone, Ariel asked, “Leon, what should we do now? Should we tell Iris that Ashwin is working with

the Lowes?”

“There’s no need. I don’t know what the Lowes are planning at the moment and we have no proof. Besides, Iris

doesn’t trust me and even if I tell her about this, she might not believe me. Even if she does, the Youngs won’t!”

Leon shook his head bitterly.

He was not a fool. Ever since Albert fell sick, Iris did not reach out to Leon at all, which meant that she was still

having a hard time believing him, or the Youngs were stopping her from doing so.

Since Iris and the Youngs distrusted him, he saw no point in selling himself cheap by insisting on getting involved.
