Leon said with determination.

He broke up with Iris and if she loved Jacob and accepted the marriage by her own will, he had no other choice but

to wish her happiness. However, if she was forced into it, he had to do whatever he could to stop the woman he

loved from marrying another.

“I understand how you feel! But you can’t rush into this. The Lowes and the Youngs won’t confirm the engagement

until three days later. Until then, there’s no point for you to go to the Youngs!” Cynthia sighed, her heart filled with

jealousy at how much Leon cared for Iris.

“Yeah, you’re right!” Leon slowly began to regain his composure.

As Cynthia mentioned, the engagement was not announced at the moment and reaching out to Iris at this very

moment would not help with the situation. He could only interfere with the gathering three days from now in hope

to stop the engagement.

“How about this? I’ll go to the Young Mansion with you three days from now!” Cynthia smiled bitterly.

Iris was her rival and deep down, she wanted Iris to marry Jacob so that Leon could finally give up on Iris. However,

she also knew that Leon would never give up on Iris so easily, so she could only accompany him to the Youngs to

keep him safe.

was moved by it, he still could not let go of Iris and he could not accept Cynthia at the time despite the guilt he felt

for her.

Three days later, the sun shone bright and the Young Mansion was decorated beautifully for the ceremony where

Gilbert would be named the leader.

Since it was an internal matter within the Youngs, they did not invite anyone else from the other families with the

exception of the Lowes.

The Lowes offered 650 million to help with the financial crisis Young Group was facing and since the two families

were going to join forces, the Youngs invited Harold both as a gesture of gratitude and also to discuss further on the

engagement.

In the Young Mansion, Harold and Jacob arrived with a few skilled martial artists of the family.

“Dad, do you really think that Gilbert Young will agree to the marriage? We might have helped resolve the crisis

they were facing, but he can always take back his words once he becomes the leader!” Jacob asked worriedly.

“He wouldn’t dare! Don’t worry! Daisy has control over the Young Group now and we have nothing to fear

from Gilbert Young! Even if they refuse to honor their promise, I’ll make them!” Harold smirked viciously.

He was no fool and since Gilbert agreed to marry Iris to Jacob, he would not be able to get back on his words.
